“Not for a second,” Ally said stiffly as gloss was being applied to her lips.
“You gonna miss me.” Matt asked.
“Nah,” Ally said sarcastically. “Of course I will.”
“I’m gonna miss you so much. I think everyone is.” Matt told Ally. “You really held this group together.”
“Thanks Matt.” Ally said. “That really means a lot.”
After Ally was finally finished in the hair and makeup trailor, she thanked the makeup artists and said her goodbyes before leaving with Matt towards the scene. Moments later, she felt her self being nearly tackled from behind.
“Nick you jackass, what the hell?”
“You’re it.” He said playfully before running off towards the set.
“That kid acts like he is 3 years-old.” Ally muttered to Matt.
“You’re just saying that because you like him.”
“Like him?” Ally said, a little surprised that she had been so obvious. “As a friend.”
Matt nearly cried he was laughing so hard. “My ass. Haven’t you seen yourself around him? He acts the same way. Why can’t either of you two see that?”
Ally was quiet for a minute. “Do you think that he really likes me?”
“Hell yeah I do.” Matt said. “Man, you are blind.”
“Am not,” Ally said. By that time, both she and Matt had reached the set.
“Okay Ally…I am gonna need you and Nick.” Mike instructed.
Ally felt herself being lead into towards the set. As she turned one of the corners she slammed right into Nick.
“Hey Ally…sleep much.” Nick teased.
“Hehe…shut up Carter.” Ally rolled her eyes.
“Okay you two. This is one of the final scenes that we are going to have to shoot. Now, it’s kinda steamy, so I want you to keep this pretty clean. We’re shooting for a PG-13 rating.”
“Great,” Ally thought. Now that her feelings for Nick had become evident to Matt, she felt really awkward around just being around Nick, let alone shooting a romantic scene with him. Plus, she wasn’t exactly sure if Nick felt the same way about her as she did about him which made her even more confused as to what she should do next.
“All right,” Mike said. “Nick, you are gonna take charge in this scene. You want Keri to know that you love her. Ally, Keri, you want Sean but you are still a little hurt in the beginning of the scene, plus, both of you have feelings for the other, but you are too scared to tell each other.”
“Sounds familiar,” Ally thought again.
After Mike had finished explaining the scene, Nick and Ally took position and the cameras began rolling.
“Sean…you okay?” Ally asked.
Nick licked his lips nervously to get more into character. He wanted this scene to go right. Not that it was hard to act like he didn’t love someone and hadn’t told her, but he couldn’t say that he wasn’t looking forward to turning up the romance on scene. With one graceful motion Nick grabbed Ally and turned her around planting his lips lustful upon hers. At this Ally returned the kiss with a series of other small, loving pecks.
“Cut,” Mike yelled. “That was very good you two. Okay, for this next part, you both are now sure that this is the right thing to do.”
Ally closed her eyes for a moment relishing in that kiss. She had felt so many sparks between her and Nick. As she looked over at Nick, she hoped that he had felt the same way.
“Okay, and action!” Mike yelled again.
Nick and Ally continued the kiss that they had started before. After a few brief moments, Nick began to back Ally towards the bed, which was on set. He gently lifted her so that she was in a sitting position, still kissing him. Nick couldn’t even describe in his mind how right this felt as he and Ally continued to heat up the set. “If only she knew,” he thought.
“Cut, that’s a wrap.” Mike directed. “Good job you two. We’re shooting the final skiing scenes in Big Bear tomorrow so you both and Matt and Rachel are going to need to meet here at exactly 10. See you then.”
