Sisters Niyah Rahmaan and Quiana Williams were given the vision of forming a Christian Sorority on the campus of Old Dominion University.

April 2002
An advisory meeting between sisters Tiffany Clark, Dennine Jordan, Niyah Rahmaan, and Mu Omicron Gamma took place on the campus of Old Dominion University.

April 26, 2002
The initial meeting of prospective founders of Lambda Omicron Chi took place on the campus of Old Dominion University.

May 1. 2002
The four founders of Lambda Omicron Chi (L.O.X.) established this Christian Sorority at 3:00 pm on a peaceful Saturday afternoon at Old Dominion University. In this meeting, we confirmed the sorority colors, soror names, and other confidential information and study materials. The four original founders are collectively known as “The Appointed".

June 1, 2002
L.O.X held its second formal meeting in Norfolk, VA in which we instituted a Constitution and an intake/pledging process for the sorority.

September 2002
The sorority began preparation for the “Growing Through” Spring 2003 Intake Process. December 5,2002 Lambda Omicron Chi was officially recognized by Old Dominion University on this winter day.

January 2003
The sorority held its first interest meetings for Old Dominion University and Hampton University.

February 2003
Three women entered the “Growing Through” process at Old Dominion University.

May 3, 2003
Alicia Renee’ Tanner was the first woman to complete the “Growing Through” process and was initiated into Lambda Omicron Chi Christian Sorority.

OCTOBER 25, 2003
"THE BORN AGAIN BETA CHAPTER OF LOX WAS INITIATED ON THIS DAY. THE FIRST MEMBERS OF THIS CHAPTER CONSIST OF TRAVONNIE LENEE SMITH, KYRSTAL DIOR TOLAND, TANESHA NICOLE WASHINGTON, GIOVANNI FLACK.
