We were in our dorm room, freshman in college. Heather, Tracy, Jennifer and I were roommates at VT. I shared a room with Heather, Jen and Tracy shared a room, and a living area connected the two.
"I can't believe we're finally in college!" Jen said, amazed.
"Yeah, and its nice to have you back in the group, Erin! You had to go and move on us!" Heather said.
"It was only a few hours away and besides, i wrote and called you guys all the time!" I pointed out. 'Unlike some people.' I thought to myself.
"We had to accept Brian and Nick leaving, and then no more than four or five months later, you, too." Tracy said, as if reading my mind.
"Oh, I got a letter of Nick the other day. They are still in Europe." Heather remembered.
"Huh? Nick writes you? Why are they in Europe?" I asked, confused.
"You don't know? They are touring.I assumed Brian wrote you all the time, so I never updated you with Nick's letters. Why hasn't he written you? Did you get into a fight or something? What happened?" she asked.
"Oh, he does, I just forgot. I'm out of it this week, with classes starting and stuff." I lied, not knowing what else to say.
"Oh, okay."she responded.
"Well, I'm going to bed, I have an early class tomorrow. See ya in the morning." I said quickly and went to my room.
~Heather's point of view~
"Whats wrong with her?" Jen wondered.
"I don't know." I answered.
"So how are they doing?" Tracy asked. "I wish they'd release something in the U.S. so I could hear their music!"
"They are going to finish touring Europe and then go to Canada. Their first American single being released is supposed to be sometime in the next few months." I expounded. She nodded in understandment.
"Well, I've got to get up early,too, so good night."I went into my room. Erin was laying on her bed staring into space.
"I thought you were going to bed?" I asked. "Whats wrong?"
"Oh I am, well am about too, nothing's wrong, I was just thinking." she smiled, but I could tell it was fake.
"Yeah right, you expect me to believe that? Does it have to do with Brian or Nick?"
She paused a moment."Its no big deal, I just had a crush on Brian before he left, but didn't tell him since he was leaving. Thats all.But i'm over it. I was just thinking back. Like I said, no bigee."
I could tell that wasn't the whole story. She still liked him, didn't she? 'Maybe if their single went big in the U.S then when they started touring here I could get them together!' I thought. I'd have to talk to Nick...
