~Erin’s point of view~
I had the beach to myself only for a few minutes before the other’s started to come down. I guess I just didn’t feel much like talking. I grabbed an inner tube and floated out into the water. It was a sunny day, perfect for the beach. One second I was gazing into the sun, the next my mouth filled with salt water and I was looking at the green sea.
I shot Brian a look, while gasping for air, when I reached the surface again.
“Sorry, it was too easy.” He flashed a sweet, innocent smile. Amy swam out, too. We talked for a few minutes. Then her eyes went wide.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Is that what I think it is?” she pointed. It was obvious she was playing another prank.
“We already did the shark trick, it’s old now. We’re not stupid.” Brian told her.
“Just look!” she was full of terror.
“Fine Amy, where?” I turned my head. I followed her gaze. “Uhh… Brian? Is-is that a fin?” I asked.
He was skeptical, but looked, too. It was his turn to have the look of terror on his face. There was a gray shark fin moving around in the water, not 30 yards away from us.“Ahh! Shark! Swim for the shore!”
He didn’t have to tell me twice. He grabbed my hand and I’ve never swam faster in my entire life! We both collapsed, once safely on the sand. When we stood up, his arm was around me. He was still shaken up. When he noticed it, he blushed and his arm fell quickly back to his side. “Where’s Amy?” Brian asked.
I saw her and AJ giving each other high fives out in the water. “It can’t be!” I whispered.
“But I saw a fin!” Frick called to them. AJ heard, and held one up in his hand.
“Bought it at the mall, just for you two! Beat that!” he laughed.
“They’re winning.” I groaned. “We need something totally original!”
“Yeah. Definitely,” he agreed. "This isn't the end."
~Tracy’s point of view~
Kevin and I went for a walk while everyone else was swimming.
“These have been an awesome two weeks!” he mentioned. I nodded in agreement.
“I can’t wait until the photo shoot.” I grinned.
“Would you possibly want to come with me to Kentucky? We have another week off.” he wondered.
“Uh..” I said, caught off guard, “Yeah, I’d love to!” He smiled, took my hand, and we walked back to the other’s. Erin and Brian were near the water yelling at Amy and AJ and everyone else was sitting on the beach.
“Guess what!” I said, when it was just me and Heather.
“What?”
“Kevin asked me to go to Kentucky with him!" I squeaked. "And we're going out to eat tonight!"
“Really? That’s awesome! I’ve got some good news, too! Nick invited me to go to the photo shoot with him and you guys!”
“Cool! What an awesome day!” I smiled.
