The Bride


Henry Frankenstein is just recovering from his firery encounter with his horrific creation, when a visitor arrives. Henry's old mentor Dr. Pretorious wishes to join forces with Frankenstein for another attempt at bringing life to the dead. Frankenstein is steadfast in his decision to not be involved, when Pretorious' new assistant (the Monster) is able to convince him otherwise. Holding Henry's beloved Elizabeth hostage, Pretorious coerces Henry into one more attempt at the creation of life: a mate for the monster! Much to their delight, they are successful. Slender and beautiful, the bride has the creature smitten. Unfortunately, the feelings are not reciprocated, for the bride is horrified by the site of her grotesque suitor. Desperate and disparaged, the creature destroys himself, Dr. Pretorious and the bride. Henry and Elizabeth escape the destruction as the laboratory is blown to kingdom come.
