| Orbs are the shape that most believe is how a spirit would travel seeing as a ball is the shape that requires the least amount of energy to form. These balls may come in a variety of colors and sizes and usually appear in pictures taken at a haunted locale, but may even be seen by eye witnesses that work or live in a haunted location. Generally it is believed that orbs of a yellow, red, or orange color are that of a negative spiritual energy | This description is actually derived from a substance know to eminate out of a pshycics body during seances etc.. But to a ghost hunter it is actually a smoke like vapor that most believe has to do with multiple spirits or a conglomeration of spiritual activity. Usually the most comon place to witness an ectoplasmic cloud is a cemetery. These clouds can be thick and seem very dense or they can be thin and almost waterlike, the amatuere ghost hunter may often times mistake smoke or his own breath in the camera lens as an ectoplasm that is why it is very important to be aware of your surrondings and also not to smoke while on an investigation. Ectoplasm is often seen before or after a partial or full aparition when the spirit goes back into hidding. | An apparition is the rarest kind of entity to see while at a haunted locale. Many including myself believe that you have to be psychicly gifted to see these types of entities. I personally have not seen an apparition in my many ghost adventures. And I have for sure been very close to spirits but yet never have they showed themselves to me in human form, usually just the first two descirptions.
