Undisclosed, Northside Tucson Restaraunt
This was our second investigation in Tucson and it was rather enjoyable. This restaraunt has been a Tucson tradition for many years and is recognized for having exquisite cuisine. But what most do not realize is that while they are enjoying their meals they may be being watched by an unseen visitor or maybe more.
The History
What is interesting about the history of this locale is that we only know that it has ever been a restaraunt. Built in the early 20's the land it was built on was purchased by a wealthy man, who at the time of purchase came under alot of criticism from other wealthy land owners and even the Tucson Citizen for making an investment folly. The land that it was built on could never hold anything significant and wouldn't amount to anything. Well little did they know that it would become some of the most desired land in Tucson. And the wealthy land owners purchase sat right at the heart of it. He hired an out of state architect to design the soon to be historic landmark. And ever since its opening it has been a "tradition"
The Haunting
There are three different stories that I have heard that sound plausible. The first being the most dramatic of the three. A man and his family lived on a farm house built on the site long before the restaraunt, and as the story goes he burned them all in a fire and then killed himself. Killing his wife and two daughters. No evidence of this has been found, and there is no documentation of a dwelling in this location before the restaraunt.

The second involves the same family but this time he shot and killed his family only to take the barrel to his own head and ending his life as well. Again no evidence has been found to substantiate these claims.

The third and most likely of the stories involves a man and his family dinning in the restaraunt. Somewhere along the night at the dinner table his son stood up from the table drawing a pistol from his pants and killing his father in mid meal. This is documented and there is a worker at the restaraunt who was working at the time of the murder. She claims that nothing unusual happened in the place until after that fateful night some 20 years ago. But since the there are many unexplained goings on in this establishment.

The odd twist to this story is that the workers have seen and felt the presence of other entities, not just the man. But he is the most active of the unseen. They have heard the voices of children, female children and glimpsed a woman out of the corner of their eye while closing late at night. Could this male entity have been joined by his family after their demise some years later? Is there a portal to the other side in this dwelling that the "other entities" have crossed through. Or are the tales of a man killing his family true and they all haunt this place. Maybe the murder of the man by his son awoke the spirits that were resting silent, until the night a man was brought down in a somewhat similar fashion as they were. Or maybe just maybe that as in most good ghost stories this restaraunt is located on some ancient burial site. (lol) I don't think it is the later, but everyone always suggests that. I tell you if every place I have heard was on an Indian Burial Ground was actually on one, than when white man arrived on this continent they would have all been slaughtered by the millions of Indians who filled those graves..

Whatever the case we will keep an open investigation at this location and update you on any new leads or developments.

UPDATES:

06-03 - We decided to go and eat at this delicious establishment. And thought we should see how things are going at the restaurant. In speaking with the manger she explained to me things have calmed down tremendously (as usually happens after we do an investigation). However now they have started seeing the man more often than before. This manager never saw him before we investigated to my knowledge, but she could think of three times since we were there that she has seen a man and gone to look and no one was there. He may not have been able to cross over, but he has at least stopped the continual harassment of workers, especially the female employees.
