Welcome to the trick demo section! The demos are recordings of my DMC gameplay which you can play back on your steam DMC. This section is split up with updates, with newest stuff at the top. Each update contains a zip or rar download which comes as a trick pack including the demo files and in some cases a readme. Find out how to play these demo files here.

For first timers, I most highly recommend these trick packs, as this is my personal favourite work:
The Vanilla Series
The Weird Rocket Jump Series

Broken link? I have all of these demo releases on my hard drive and I can be easilly contacted through the website www.dmc-central.com where my user name is Tayste. My steam friends user is really_cant_think@hotmail.com
I would be happy to upload any of these which are no longer online.

Hungry for more? Then check out my movement guide which comes complete with demos that aren't featured here!

DMQ Trick Pack
Hey everyone. I came back to DMC at the beginning of november. These tricks were recorded at around mid november. I tried really hard to get going with some cool tricks and after recording "dmq7" in this trick pack, my inspiration sky rocketed... unfortunately while looking for creative new tricks on the maps we use I gave up after 2 days because I couldn't find anything... shame. So for the last month and a half this pack has been sitting on my hard drive because I always indended it to be larger, but finally I decided to release this for christmas since I will not be adding to it anytime soon :(

I think this will be the last trick pack I do, since I finding myself less inspired with tricking and finding it too hard to think of a trick that people will actually think is nice.

The tricks here are not fresh, except the final trick, "dmq7", which is the main reason to get this pack. The other tricks I have seen in QW, some of them perhaps not in DMC. Have fun anyway and MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Tayste's : The Vanilla Series.
Hardcore DMC gameplay performed on standard (vanilla hehe) DMC and my personal finest examples (how 'fine' that is, or is not, is debatable hehe). This was created as a 'collection' of some of my favourite all round raw DMC tricks, and as a farewell, since I will no longer record demos using standard settings with the release of DMQ. DMQ has changed DMC tricking for good, so this demo pack is my mark on the original standard, vanilla, purely raw Deathmatch Classic.

I decided to put together a collection of rocket jumps, demos are all done in standard DMC, not match mod/DMQ. I just had a sudden urge to record some demos few days ago, and decided to do a WRJ (weird rocket jump) series.. basically a rocket jump collection.

One final comment is that the wrj10 trick is not useful and doesn't even really look that good, but since I used standard DMC unfortunately it was a LOT harder than it looks :)

Trick 1 demo pack
My latest trick pack is a run through the trick1.bsp that WangMauler converted as tribute to his seemingly departure.

- I decided to learn Trick1.bsp as tribute to the great player Wang and record some more steam demos too. The map has 7 tricks to accomplish.. however most of the tricks can be pulled off with a few different methods.

The demo is split into 3 demos. First 4 tricks are in Trick1_1234.dem, then 5th and 6th trick are in Trick1_56.dem. Then Trick1_final.dem is the 7th trick. This is mainly because silly mistakes got me pissed off with first several tricks. So i just started doing them seperately. And i am not consistent enough with the 7th trick to put them all in 1 run. (i could practice but i think it would be a waste of time unless people wanted races heh.. which won't happen). The map Trick1.bsp is required for these demos unfortunately I cannot provide a link.

Aswell as the trick1 run through Iv included 13 more demos to use up some space (so still worth a download if you dont have trick1.bsp). The moves are *spur of the moment* kind, and I would recommend these demos for new players since they aren't hugely advanced and some are useful.

This zip includes 9 demos, these are all fun demos. Experienced players will see nothing new here.. except perhaps WindowMH.dem. But, check them out and you might be surprised, all are fun, simple stuff i did while messing around, nothing incredibly creative. Theres even a double demo in there tho hehe, credits to [o]Rainbow.. aka R. All demos are on maps dm2 and dm3.

Enjoy -

***** UPDATE 2006 *****

Unfortunately these demos did not work when I tested them recently. One of the demos worked however, the WindowMH.dem, so try them out anyway perhaps it is just my computer that won't run them.

Trick on dm2, i'd never attempted this move before experimenting with Trends pro code physics, although i later discovered that this move is also possible in standard DMC.

DM2_Telequad.zip

In this demo, through experimenting with the new pro code physics, came up with an idea i had long ago and finally managed to put it into practice. This trick, unlike the previous, i can with fair assurance say that it is impossible without the pro code physics. click here otherwise, download the demo!
