Staying Single. It all sounds good in the books, folks, but men don't
play by rules, as a "rule". I know, there are a few good and true and
faithful husbands out there. I keep hearing about them, but have never
seen one, except my dad. He is 90 and was only married and with my mom,
all of her 86 yrs. when she lived. However, when they were together, he
acted like he was boss and she was not gracious, but they survived.
They were not a "by the Submission Marriage Book", but they were par
for the course "Married" as far as people who stay together. They just
finally got tired of fighting and decided one day, after we were all
grown and moved out of the house, that they did not want a divorce so
they learned to get along. It became a real 50/50 relationship and
Compromise. Dad quit being so bossy and things got alot better!

Horrifying Murder of Black by Whites in Jasper
Worse than Hanging, Man Dragged to Death

Three former cellmates from the Texas Prison System, offered
a man a ride, in their truck, and James Byrd was never seen alive again.
His body was found strewn all over the Jasper, Tx. highway. The three
ex-convicts chained Byrd to the back of the truck and dragged him down
the road, decapitating him, his arm also, and his body was found in
bits and pieces for miles. This man was beaten before being drugged,
but he was was alive when murdered by dragging.
Local Sheriff said a confession is in hand, stating that it
was "suspected" to be racially motivated. The three men had been in the
KKK while in Prison, but the Jasper Sheriff assured the Public on Television
that this KKK affliation was only in Texas Prisons (as a means of survival
for the prisoners)and that the general community had nothing to worry about.
He believed the KKK was not active in our area!
The FBI is investigating whether the murdered man, James Byrd,
has his Civil Rights Violated. It appears Byrd's Rights were massively
violated, his family torn from him as well as his head, and his heart (which
was that of a good and respected man in the Jasper Community)was "violated".
The Hate which inspired this Act is hidden in many hearts in
this Country. Prejudice has existed in this Country since its Foundation.
Prejudice destroys. Prejudice Kills. Prejudice is Insanity and is Wrong.

It was Exciting! It was different! It was the New CNN
and TIME TV-News Show. The sad part was the TRUTH
which it revealed about the nerve gassing of American
Deserters in Vietnam during the War. This story is
going to be around awhile, as America will be
re-examining its conscience about it feelings
towards disenters and deserters. Even the men
and officers who did the gassing expressed anguish
in such brutal killing of Americans. It was stated
by one Officer that Derserter American Soldiers knew
too much about communications and were more a threat,
alive than dead; a threat to security of US troops.
"Bernie" Bernard Shaw, Peter Arnett and Jeff Greenfield
did the honors of bringing this show, with humor and
dignity and depth to the public. Congratulations CNN!

neck-and-neck with Al Gore in Public Polls.
Concern is that Dole would not accept a
nomination for President. Dole would be an
easy shoe-in for Vice-President and would
probably give Republicans the Nomination and
Presidency. Would her Viagre-Husband help her
go on the road and be a stump politician?
As President of The Red Cross, Elizabeth Dole
has done an outstanding job. She denies having
any desire to run for even the Vice-President's
Office, but if offered the job, could she say no?
