Connie,

Enjoyed reading your pages for my first time. I found it from the AngelFire site when I checked to see their Web Site Of The Month. Just wanted to take a moment to let you know I enjoyed my visit and will drop in again and often. Keep up the good work. Joe Marlowe, Utica, NY ..Warmest Regards, . .Joe M.

editor's note: Thanks Joe. I appreciate you taking the time to write and to visit and hope you will come back again.

congratulations

RE: Monica

Sometimes I just wish washington would wake up and start acting like mature adults, but perhaps that is to much to ask for. It seems that politics (as is usually carried out) lowers itself to antics best left on the kindergarten or 1st graders "school yard" at recess. But since most of the folks in the "media" seem to dwell on things none of the rest of us care about, and "Washington" seems to believe what the "media" says, why should I be surprised.

At any rate, congratulations on being named "Page of the Month" and I wonder if you would do me the favor of looking at a page or two I am trying to maintain. I will not take the course in "Web Page Design" until next fall (I am in college) but would like to have your advice.
Thanks

I like your web page. Congrats on page of the month. I'm a web page designer too. I noticed the 5900 count on your hit counter. I was just wondering how you got your page advertised. I've made a new page and things are going real slow. I'd appreciate some info. THANKS,

Thanks for the Congrats. I am thrilled and honored and not quite sure how it happened. I have not spent a penny to advertise it. I was determined to use Free Angelfire and learn my way around and see if I could do it!

Hi, My name is Will Ellis. I am currently trying to make a web page on angelfire, and since your page is this months winner, it must mean you are the best at making them. Do you think you could please help me out on making mine?? I know a little about it. But i dont really understand how to put an extra frame and scroll bar on the side, and how to make it really neat, like with a guestbook and etc.. Can you please help me??
Sincerely, William Ellis

Dear Will:
Wow! Expert? Me? WRONG!! hahahahahahahahahhaaa.... ok...now that I have stopped laughing at myself...I remember when I thought others were the expert. I love your letter William and I wish I was the greatest. I want to learn how to put an extra frame and scroll bar on the side too, and to be really neat. I don't have a guest book, I prefer to use the Bulletin Board, it gives more open forum.

What I did is go to the instructional sites which Angelfire suggested, and just followed the simple instructions. I did not try to get fancy, just tried to learn the HTML CODE, the uploading proceedures, and spent alot of time, trial and error in making pages.

I was pulling my hair out, until Angelfire gave us more memory! That was a big break for me.

I love your page at angelfire. I am glad it won best site. How did you get all the people to go there though? I need some help to make more people come to mine. Please sign my book. Bye, Kevin Miller

Dear Kevin, I don't know if they choose you according to how many people come to the site or based upon content. I received no notification or explanation. I think it would be interesting to know how they decided too.
