How to create a Mini Map

There are two ways to create a Mini Map. First off, in both ways, you need to create a map. The First way that you can create a mini map is to open your map in Final Sun or Final Alert, depending on the game you have made this map for. Then you must wait for the mini map to appear, and when it does you press Print Screen ( Print Scrn [ located between scroll locks and F12 on most keyboards ] ). This will copy your current screen. After you have done this, you must open up a graphic program ( Microsoft Paint, Paint Shop Pro, ect. ) and click edit->paste, or Ctrl + V. This will display the screen that you had up on your computer when you pressed Print Screen. Then just simply crop down until all that is left is the mini map. Then save it as a .jpg or a .gif, NO bitmaps (.bmp) make sure you give it a unique name, for your map. The second way to create a mini map for your map is to start Tiberian Sun, or Red Alert 2 depending on what game your map is for. Then play a skirmish with your map. Once all of the map is revealed, you can press print screen. Then press Alt + Tab to minimize the game. Then start a graphic program, and click edit->paste, or Ctrl + V. Then crop the image down to just the mini map, then save as a .jpg or .gif.
