Spencer vs Cassidine #25  October 8 - November 13, 2001 - 8 hour original edit

DVD #25A  Later, Gia showed up and saw Elizabeth and was going to call the police. Nikolas tried to talk to her but she hit him and knocked him out, temporarily. He came to in time to hang up the phone before she could get any cops out there. He tried to tell her again but then Elizabeth woke up. Gia was shocked.

Stavros, however, said that Laura was all his. Alexis went to see Stefan and told him she knew now what he wanted. He asked if she had seen Stavros and she said no, but she had heard him. She still didn't want Stefan breaking out of jail.

10/9 Lucky was in rare form. He had finally regained the control of his life (or so he thought). Lucky told Helena that she would not be able to hurt any of his family anymore. He grabbed Helena and demanded the cure for his father. Helena used a key phase and she thought that she had him under control, but Lucky popped right back to himself and told her he was not through with her. He demanded that they go to get the cure for Luke. Helena complied but pulled a fast one on Lucky when she pulled out the ice princess. This left Lucky shocked and useless against Helena.

Gia was delirious when Elizabeth came back from the dead. Nikolas tried to explain everything the best that he could but Gia was not moved. She could not believe that he trusted Elizabeth over her, the woman that he loved. Nikolas explained again how it was necessary to protect Gia from his family. Mac showed up at the yacht looking for a dead person or something. Gia covered by saying she was just angry with Nikolas and getting back at him. Mac was disappointed and told Gia that the police department was not a place for her to use at her disposal. Nikolas asked Gia to stay on the yacht while he got Elizabeth safely out of town.

Bobbie was doing everything in her power to save Luke. She asked Tony to come with the antidote that he had made to administer to Luke. However Luke had become afraid of needles and strange people. Finally Bobbie told him that she would give the medicine to him and Luke agreed. Unfortunately Tony's antidote did not seem to have any affect on poor Luke.

10/9 Carly arrives home and is startled to find "Lucien" waiting for her inside. He claims that Leticia let him in. "Lucien" then tells her that he can help her execute a takeover of Deception. As they begin to discuss plans, the two are interrupted by Sonny. "This is my white knight," Carly says as she introduces "Lucien" to Sonny. This prompts an argument between the two. When "Lucien" steps in to defend her, Carly is obviously pleased although she does ask "Lucien" to leave.

Nikolas, Gia, and Liz share some tense moments waiting for the pick-up boat. Gia continues to be hurt that she was kept in the dark about Nikolas and Liz's plans. When Nikolas leaves to check on the boat, Gia and Liz have words. Liz tells her that despite her efforts to keep Liz from "dying" she is still not good enough for Nikolas. Their argument is ended by Nikolas' return. He tells Liz the boat has arrived and it is time for her to go. She asks if she can write Lucky a note that can be given to him by Nikolas when things are safe. Nikolas agrees. Liz composes the note and then leaves. Nikolas and Gia are left alone. Nikolas continues to profess his love for her and she continues to resist, however, she is clearly moved by his words.

In the lab, Lucky tries to fight Helena's influence over him. She demands he put the vial down. Despite his attempts to resist, he cannot and he does put it back. As he tries to exit the lab, Helena tries to instruct him further. When she starts to say, "Do we understand each other?"  He responds by covering his ears and singing, "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" and knocking the Ice Princess out of her hands. Unfortunately, Helena is able to retrieve the Ice Princess before Lucky can. She successfully places him back under her control.

Bobbie tries to keep a clearly disturbed Luke from leaving the safe house. Suddenly, he pushes her to the floor and insists that someone is coming. When Bobbie realizes that someone is their dead father, she tries to calm him by talking about happier moments in their past. Thinking about the past causes Luke to recall his rape of Laura, further upsetting him. Bobbie is finally able to calm him down by telling her brother how much she loves him. He tells her he is going to rest. She leaves the safe house to buy food. When she returns, Luke is nowhere to be found.

Melissa does her part to arrange for Stefan's escape from jail while a disapproving Roy says that she is risking her career and her freedom for a plan that most likely will fail. In his jail cell at the PCPD, Stefan fakes a heart attack. Laura insists that the guards on duty call for an ambulance. Jax and Alexis arrive at the cell. When Laura tells them what is going on, Alexis is definitely concerned while Jax insists that Stefan is faking and asks to more closely examine him. Laura insists that Jax be kept away from Stefan. The guards say that because no ambulances are available, they will take Stefan to GH in a squad car. Carried by the guards, Stefan is escorted out of his cell while Laura, Alexis, and Jax trail behind. Shortly thereafter, Stefan is wheeled into GH. Melissa places him in a private exam area and herds the police out. Stefan immediately begins to change into scrubs and prepares to escape.

Jax follows Alexis into the ER and continues to insist that Stefan is faking his heart attack. He insists on seeing the patient, but is stopped by the officers guarding his room. Roy steps in when it looks like Jax won't stop his protests. He accuses Jax of seeing Melissa behind his back. When a confused Jax insists he has no idea what Roy is talking about, Melissa steps in and all three begin to argue. When it appears that Jax and Roy will come to blows, the officers guarding Stefan step in to break the two apart, which gives Stefan the opportunity to escape. Unfortunately for Stefan, Jax has gotten away from Roy and Melissa and catches up with him in the hallway. As Stefan implores Jax to let him go, Alexis finds the two and also insists that Jax let Stefan go. As they argue over Stefan, Sonny arrives. Alexis makes one final appeal to Jax, that if he has ever cared about her he will let Stefan go. Reluctantly, Jax relents and releases Stefan.

Mac arrives in the ER. When he enters Stefan's exam area, he sees that Mr. Cassadine has escaped. He tells his officers to comb GH and find the fugitive. Mac then questions Laura and asks what she was doing visiting Stefan in jail. She nervously tries to cover for herself and him until Mac is called away. She heads toward the exam area to calm herself. When she pulls the curtain back, she is shocked to find Luke waiting for her.

Helena pumps Lucky for information about his father. She dismisses him when Stavros returns. One of Helena's men then enters the lab and informs the two that Stefan has escaped.

10/11 Laura heard Helena outside of the hospital curtain and knew she couldn't let Luke be found. They decided to disguise themselves as a patient and hospital scrub nurse and use the wheelchair to get to the elevator without Helena spotting them. They almost made it free and clear when Helena noticed the strange pair and asked them stop but they made a mad dash for the elevator. Helena then realized it was Luke and Laura and became angry. She had let them slip right past her.

Laura took Luke to an old warehouse by the docks filled with mannequins and old costumes and clothes. Luke, still in a haze, thought they were at Wyndham's department store. Laura told him where they actually were and that it was 2001 trying to jog his memory. He then shuffled over to the table where boxes of clothes were and said they needed disguises. Laura told him they didn't need any and again tried to get him to focus and remember what was going on. Luke found an old champagne glass and was transported back in time when he and Laura were younger and were having caviar and champagne. The flashbacks are great. Luke staggers backwards and falls saying he doesn't feel well. Laura sits down with him and says that Bobbie is bringing him some medicine to make him well when Luke notices she's not wearing her wedding ring. He questions why and then notices his is missing as well. Laura tells him that they are divorced and Luke sadly looks into her eyes and says, "How can that be? I still love you." It was so sad!

Nikolas and Gia are still going at it on the yacht. She is still upset that she was kept out of the loop with regards to the plan to save Lucky and doesn't know whether to fully trust Nikolas or not. He's trying very hard to convince her. Then she tells him about Lucien and how she found him getting cozy with Helena. Nikolas freaks and tells her she could be in danger. He asks if "Lucien" knows that she thinks Nikolas was going to kill Elizabeth? When she says she told him because she had nowhere to turn since everyone was keeping her in the dark, Nikolas gets worried and tells her that he could be a spy and relaying everything back to Helena. She said she got away from him by saying that she was probably mistaken about everything. He doesn't buy it and tells Gia that that's why he didn't want her involved. He doesn't want her hurt. They decide to pull anchor and head back to town to move forward with the plan and tell Helena that Elizabeth is gone.

Stavros takes a hidden tunnel in Wyndemere into the study to find Stefan waiting for him with a continental breakfast. Stavros seems amused and Stefan remains calm while staring at the evil brother he thought died 20 years ago. Stavros wants to know how long he's know he's alive and Stefan says it doesn't matter but that he confirmed it when the DNA tests from Chloe's murder came back saying it had to be a full blood relative. Stavros needles Stefan by speaking of Chloe's murder and Stefan stops him. Then Stefan needles him back with talk of he and Laura's affair. Stavros is surprised by Stefan's confidence and begins telling him how he's going to regain his son, Nikolas. Stefan refuses to let him get near Nikolas and the two come to a stalemate. For now.

10/12 Helena was shocked to learn that Stefan had shackled Stavros to a chair. She tried to convince Stefan to let him go, saying she would tell him all her secrets. He refused and instructed her to take him to the lab.

Luke still couldn't believe that he and Laura were divorced because he still loved her. He asked if they could go back but she said they had each moved on with their lives and it needed to stay that way. While they talked, Luke remembered how he used to love to watch horror films. He then talked of one he had seen recently that took place in a modern day lab. Laura asked if he remembered where it was. He said that his memory was blurry, but maybe he could draw its location. He sang a nursery rhyme song about a frozen man with a frozen smile and Laura wondered if it was a clue about Stavros. Laura gave up when the map Luke had drawn made no sense, it was just a bunch of squiggly lines.

When Taggert and Andy first found Stavros, he had been stuck in the trunk with the shackles. After trying many keys, Andy finally got the shackles removed. Stavros attempted to leave, but Taggert stopped him. Stavros was helpful and calm with the men until Taggert announced that Alexis was on her way. Alexis received a call from Taggert stating that he was at Wyndemere at a man claiming to be a business associate of Stefan's. He wanted her to come over and confirm his story. When Taggert described Stavros to her she told him he was dangerous and not to let him go.

Jax went to the hospital and gave the vial of biotoxin to Bobbie. He told her he stole it from Helena Cassadine's room and wanted her to find out what it is.

Back at the lab, Helena told Stefan how annoying Stavros was becoming with his new sense of immortality. When Helena's henchmen entered the room, Stefan explained who he was and stated that they would obey his orders from now on. When Helena backed him up, he ordered they to empty the wine from the cryogenics chamber and to place Helena inside.

10/15 Bobbie was both stunned and excited that Jax had stolen a vial of poison from Helena. However, before Jax would hand it over, he wanted to know exactly what it was. After some hedging, Bobbie finally told him that she believed it was the same poison that Helena had given Luke, and Tony possibly had a cure for it. Jax handed it over after exacting a promise that Bobbie would keep him informed from then on.

Laura called Bobbie in a panic when Luke collapsed and wouldn't regain consciousness. She cradled his face and told him that she loved him and begged him not to leave her. At GH, Scott overheard Bobbie and Tony talking about Luke, and he followed them to the warehouse. Putting aside his personal feelings, Scott helped Tony get Luke to the hospital. Laura thanked Scott for being so understanding, and she sought comfort in his arms. Their close moment was interrupted when Luke woke up and asked for Laura. Scott watched from the doorway as Laura assured Luke that she wouldn't leave him.

Stefan dismissed Helena's minions and demanded that she tell him the secrets of the lab, as well as how she had managed to turn Nikolas against everyone. Helena tried to manipulate him by praising his Cassadine instincts and admitting that she felt proud of him for the first time. An amused Stefan said that her praise was too late since he had long since resolved himself to the fact that she never had, and never would, love him. He locked her in one of the lab's chambers until he was ready to decide her fate.

Taggert continued to question Stavros as they waited for Alexis to show up and identify him. Stavros insisted that he was innocent of Stefan's actions and suggested that the police turn their attention to catching the real criminal. When Taggert stepped out, Stavros overpowered Detective Andy and escaped Wyndemere. Alexis arrived, and she berated Taggert for letting such a dangerous man go free. She couldn't tell him Stavros' true identity, but begged him to track the man down. Jax came in and backed up Alexis when Taggert questioned her involvement in Stefan's escape. Alexis thanked him for covering for her and asked him to protect Kristina. She didn't tell him that Stavros was alive, but she did say that a new and deadly Cassadine was on the scene.

Nikolas and Gia moved closer toward reconciliation, even though she was still angry with him for deceiving her. Gia asked what his plans for the Cassadines were, and he admitted that he didn't have a total plan worked out, but he figured he would think of something. Displeased, Gia intimated that she would help him out in her own way. Nikolas realized that she planned to talk to Lucien Cane about his dealings with the Cassadines, and he warned her not to pursue that course of action. Though Gia told him she would stay away from Lucien, she privately resolved to see him anyway. Before Nikolas could leave the yacht, Gia gave him a passionate kiss for good luck and made him promise to be careful.

Stavros arrived in Helena's lab to find an unsurprised Stefan. He warned his little brother that his reign of triumph had come to an end, but Stefan nonchalantly declared that the fun was just beginning. He rolled up his sleeves and prepared for battle.

10/16 Lucky stormed on the yacht looking for Elizabeth. He questioned Gia about Elizabeth. Lucky explained that Helena had got to him again and he had revealed information to her. What we what doesn't matter anymore because Helena will never let any of us be happy anymore. Lucky did mention that he fought Helena. He was feeling stronger because he resisted. Then he point blank asked Gia what was going on now. Thank goodness Gia has a strong personality and decided to reveal nothing to Lucky. She told him she did not know where Elizabeth was. She also kept up the story about Nikolas still not loving her.

Gia did try to help Lucky the best way possible by pulling on his heartstrings with Elizabeth. Gia told him he had to rely on his feelings of love even though they seem non-existent. Whenever Helena tries to get to you go to that special place where you and Elizabeth shared your love and fight. Then Lucky saw Elizabeth (a vision). Elizabeth told him to fight for them and their love. You can't let Helena win. Lucky came out of the trance and told Gia that he had seen Elizabeth even smelled her skin and she had told him he had to fight. Since Lucky was over this hump, Gia took the opportunity to question him about Lucien Cane. Lucky's whole face changed and said that Lucien was the devil and if he got Nikolas he would never let him go (scary words aren't they)

Nikolas went to the hospital to look for Helena and ran into his mom. He advised her about the whole situation and told her that he had passed Helena's final test. Laura was worried since Stefan was out of jail and was trying to handle Stavros. Laura started to tell Nikolas, but he was determined to find Helena at this moment. Laura tried again to bring up Stavros, but Helena walked around the corner and pulled Nikolas away. Helena revealed the secret door to the maze and lab. Nikolas was being cautious because he did not know what Helena had in store.

Meanwhile inside the lab, Stavros had over powered Stefan and had him tied to a chair. Stefan called his brother crazy and delusional and especially in regards to seeing Nikolas. Stavros was on high and did not even want to think there could be a problem with Nikolas meeting him. Helena and Nikolas were at the door to the lab. Stavros looked worried inside.

10/17 Lucky arrives at GH. Melissa fills him in on his father's condition. When she asks him to see Luke he says he is too afraid of hurting him again. Roy visits Luke in his hospital room. Luke does not recognize Roy and asks him to leave. Roy is able to remind Luke of their past together. Luke apologizes for some of the things that happened. In a moment of lucidity, he asks Roy if he is going to die. Roy evades the question. When the subject of Lucky comes up, Luke becomes very agitated. He demands to see his son now and starts yelling Lucky's name. Felicia, who is walking down the corridor hears this and watches the disturbing scene from outside the room.

Outside the lab, Helena informs Nikolas he is about to see what she has worked for all her life. She enters the lab, leaving Nikolas outside. Once inside, she asks Stavros if he is ready to meet his son. Stavros, however, seems very nervous about the prospect. He tells Helena he does not think his son will be welcoming to him. He tells Helena to bring Nikolas into the lab, but asks her to keep him outside a moment while he prepares a "final test" for his son. When Helena does return with Nikolas, Stavros has placed himself back into his cryogenic chamber and appears comatose. A speechless Nikolas stares open-mouthed at the chamber as Helena proudly tells him to meet his father. She says she understands that this is a huge shock to him but that she wants to leave him alone with his father so he can share his private thoughts. She exits the lab, leaving son and a seemingly comatose father alone.

Roy leaves Luke's room to find Lucky. He asks Felicia to stay with the patient until he comes back. As with Roy earlier, Luke has no memory of Felicia. She tries to remind him of who she is by reminiscing about their time in Mexico. All of the sudden, Luke calls out "Orphie." The two embrace. Meanwhile, Roy has managed to track down Lucky and tells the boy that his father needs to see him, now. Despite his misgivings and fears, Lucky heads to his dad’s room. As he stands outside the door, Lucky hears Helena's voice in his head and tries to block it out. Felicia leaves the room when Lucky enters. Father and son embrace. Lucky is overcome with guilt over hurting his dad. Luke tells him to forget about it. The two must survive and need to prepare for a fight. Lucky says he will survive and fight only if his dad will.

Left alone with his father, Nikolas lashes out. He says he hates Stavros for what he did to Laura and furthermore, will not allow him to be brought back to life. At this, Helena rejoins the two. Nikolas covers and begs his grandmother to bring Stavros back to life. He also asks what Lucky's role in this plan was. She explains that Lucky is essentially a mercenary, programmed to destroy anyone who gets in their way. After this, she tells Nikolas he needs to rest and recover from the shock of seeing his father. After she ushers him out, Stavros removes himself from the chamber and blasts his mother. "You have severely misjudged my son," he seethes. Stavros relates what Nikolas said to him while she was out of the room. The two vow to get even with those who turned Nikolas against his father.

At the yacht, Gia is waiting when a dazed Nikolas wanders aboard. When she asks him what has happened, he silently takes her into an embrace.

10/22 Stefan begs his brother not to harm Nikolas. Meanwhile, Laura realizes that her son still doesn't have all the facts as a shuddering Nikolas describes how creepy it was to view his father's "frozen" remains. Nikolas volunteers to return to the lab and find a cure for Luke, then is stunned when Laura reluctantly discloses the truth about Stavros's resurrection.

10/23 Scott went to check on Laura but found Lucky instead. Lucky was concerned for his parents and tried to deduce what were Scott's intentions with his mother. Lucky point blank told Scott that he should not even think about ending up with his mother. Scott explained to Lucky that he was merely concerned for Laura and her family. It is a serious time and your family needs all the help it can get. Regarding your mother, I don't want Laura by default. I want Laura to pick me. If we end up together great and if we don't that is okay too. I just do not want to look back in 20 years and wonder what if I had tried with the love of my life. Scott walked away.

10/24 Nik tells her that he saw his father, alive! Stavros listens in as Nik tells Gia about the terrible things his father has done and how his grandmother got wind of his deception. As Stavros continues to eavesdrop, Nikolas sadly tells Gia he must finish off his evil father before he turns into the same kind of man. Bobbie keeps a vigil beside her ailing brother's bedside. Happy to be reconciled with the woman he loves, Nikolas returns his bracelet to a beaming Gia. Nikolas and Gia happily make love.

10/25 Laura awakens screaming from a nightmare about coming face to face with Stavros. When Scott refuses to take no for an answer, Laura hesitantly reveals that Stavros is alive.  Laura tells a baffled Scott she can't see him anymore.

10/26 Stavros grows enraged when Helena suggests that they solve a problem by programming Nikolas to love and accept his father. After Nikolas leaves to confront his grandmother, Gia glances at some of the prince's old family photos and is stunned to realize that "Lucien" is none other than Stavros Cassadine. Mac accuses a frustrated Gia of crying wolf when she tries to convince the commissioner that her friends are in danger. Carly finds "Lucien" in her house. Nikolas swears to a seething Lucky that Elizabeth is alive and well.

10/29 Gia was still trying to convince Jax that Lucien Kane was Stavros Cassadine. Nikolas was trying to get Lucky to believe he was on his side and that Elizabeth wasn't really dead, she was just faking. Lucky didn't believe him; he had seen Elizabeth himself, so still and cold. Nikolas said he gave her a drug that made her heart rate slow down and made it seem like she was dead. Laura came in and said it was true, that Nikolas had been working with her and Luke all the time. He just pretended to be back as a Cassadine to get Helena to tell him how she programmed Lucky. Luke hitting him was all an act. He was in on it until he got sick.

Carly came home to find Lucien Kane in her living room. She wanted to know how he got in and he told her the nanny let him in, said he could wait. They bonded over talk about their children. He told her he lost a child.

DVD #25B  Carly assumes Lucien’s child has died. He tells her that his child’s mother and her family took him and brought him up to hate him. They talked for awhile and he said he wanted to take her and her son out somewhere. She said Michael likes going to the park but they ended up at an arcade gallery where Michael had fun playing. They were looking real cozy when Sonny walked in.

Nikolas and Lucky finally hugged, but then Lucky said he should stay away from them as he was dangerous. Laura and Nikolas convinced him to fight, and with their help they would make it. They had a group hug.

Gia finally convinces Jax that the man known as Lucien is dangerous. Jax tried to call Alexis but she wasn't answering. Jax isn’t sure that Lucien is Stavros, but realizes that he is dangerous. Jax turns to leave and Mac stopped him. They are going to hold him for forty-eight hours. After Jax is put in a cell, Gia caused a distraction and managed to get the keys away from the guard, then told him he was wanted upstairs.

10/30 Sonny was not thrilled to find Carly and Michael enjoying time with Stavros.  Sonny insisted that he needed to talk to "his wife". Stavros told Carly that if she had to leave don't worry about him. Carly was strong and told Sonny that she and Michael were not ready to leave. Sonny was angered further. He reiterated that he only needed to have some private time with Carly and Michael. Stavros backed away and said he had to leave.

With Laura's help Nikolas finally convinced Lucky that they were all on the same side. Lucky realized he had no choice but to seek out Helena. Meanwhile Nikolas and Laura realized that one of them would have to confront Stavros and soon because it would be the only way to help cure Luke. Nikolas insisted on himself because he was sure that his father loved him and that he could use that to persuade him. Laura thought she might have the best connection. They continued to contemplate various scenarios of how to get out of this mess. Nikolas and Laura also realized that they had to get the people they loved out of danger, mainly Lucas, Lulu, and Leslie. Nikolas arranged the whole thing to get them out of harms way.

Taggert on the way out stopped them both cold. Both Mac and Taggert did not really want to keep the two, but they had hoped for additional information from them for the Sorel case. Alexis soon entered to police office and was able to get both released.

10/31 Stavros takes the blindfold off of Gia and she finds herself in an elaborately decorated room. He asks her to tell him if this can make a woman love him. When Gia looks confused, Stavros asks her to tell him why she loves Nikolas. She shares her thoughts on love with him. He appeals to Gia to help him win over both Nikolas and Laura. Though Gia doesn't answer directly, Stavros seems satisfied that she will help him. He thanks her for coming and says he is sending her back to Nikolas. Gia asks him if she or Nikolas faces any danger from him. He says they are do not. However, when she asks if Luke, Bobbie, and the others are going to be hurt, he just walks away. Alone in the room, Stavros fantasizes about Laura.

Laura is sitting with Luke in his hospital room when Nikolas walks in. Laura tells him that Luke's blood work shows some improvement; hopefully, the antidote is working. Nikolas offers to stay with Laura in the room. As she shares stories of her time on the run with Luke, he awakens. Luke asks Nikolas if he is there to make sure that Luke is dead. Nikolas says that he came to ask for Luke's help and wants to know if Luke has seen Stavros. Luke is puzzled and tells that two that he killed Stavros years ago. Both Nikolas and Laura tell him that Helena built a lab and found a way to bring the elder Cassadine back to life.

Laura tells her ex-husband that she is sure Luke has been there in the past and pushes him to remember where the lab is. She shows him a map he had begun to draw when the two were hiding in the warehouse. Try as he may, Luke can't make sense of the map nor can he remember being in the lab. When he comments on Nikolas' resemblance to his father, both Nikolas and Laura prepare for another tirade from Luke. Mother and son are surprised when Luke says that inside Nikolas is nothing like Stavros and that Luke let his wrongful hatred for Nikolas affect his relationship with Laura. Luke then apologizes to Nikolas and says that instead of hating him, he should have been teaching him how to fight the Cassadines. Laura is impressed with her ex-husband's words. She asks Nikolas to leave so they can be alone. The two share a touching moment as he promises her they will get through this.

Alexis arrives back at the penthouse, she hears a thud outside her door. She opens the door to check on Johnny but is instead greeted by Helena.

11/1 Scotty shows up in Luke's hospital room wanting to know where Laura is. Unfortunately, Luke is sleeping and not much help. Scotty makes cutting remarks while Luke's knocked out just as Bobbie arrives and overhears. She gets on Scotty about saying negative things to her brother especially while he's sick and sleeping. Scotty tells her that he wants Luke to get better so he can watch him take Laura out from underneath him fair and square. Luke wakes up just then and hears him. Scotty asks where Laura is and Luke tells him that she's probably out fighting the Cassadine's. Scotty is outraged and asks Luke if he tried to stop her. Luke informs him that he told her to go for it and Scotty can't believe what he's hearing. Again he asks where she is and Luke doesn't know.

Laura arrives home and finds a red rose and a card on the coffee table. She runs upstairs to a storage room and locks herself in. She's breaking down and getting teary eyed thinking she's not going to be able to save anyone, even herself. She starts hearing voices. They turn out to be Scotty's, Stefan's and Luke's. They are all telling her what to do. Then she hears Luke repeat that the answers lie in her past. She looks over and sees her duffle bag and starts going through it looking for clues. Scotty then appears before her as she holds a keychain he bought for her when she got her license. They reminisce about that time and then he tells her to trust him and let him help protect her. Laura says he can't and then she hears Stefan. He appears before her too and tells her to run. He says that he will protect her and help her get away from Stavros like he did before.

She tells him that she can't run and then Luke appears and tells the other two to leave her alone. They disappear and a vision of Luke stands before her. He tells her how brave she is. Laura gets emotional and Luke tells her about the first time she came into his bar looking for a waitressing job at 17 years old. He tells her how much he loved her. Luke then tells her she has to save them and Laura gets angry. She tells Luke that why should she have too, he didn't save her and he wouldn't accept her son and thus breaking them apart. Luke realizes that she was right and offers to leave, that maybe he's what is stopping her from figuring out the clues. Laura then smiles and tells him not to go. That she's the problem. She figures out that the map Luke drew is similar to the one to Miko's cave and starts to decifer Luke's clues.

Helena has gotten rid of Sonny's bodyguard and makes her way into Alexis' apartment. Alexis asks her what she's done with Stefan and Helena tells her that he's somewhere that fits his "dreary" personality. Alexis tells her that she better not have hurt him. Helena baits her and asks how long she's known about Stavros. She figures it was when she found her lurking outside the library door. Alexis says that she did hear her speaking to someone but would never have thought it was Stavros but wouldn't put anything past her. They argue back and forth and then Alexis sticks it to her. She starts telling Helena that she didn't know a side of Mikkos, the side that loved her mother and she says that she wasn't good enough for him. Helena warns her that she's on thin ice and one more dig and there's no going back.

Helena tells Alexis that the only way to see if Stefan is okay is for her to visit him. Alexis asks how long this visit would last and Helena laughs. Alexis asks her what makes her think she'll let her leave (her apartment) and Helena asks what makes her think she came alone. Just then two of Helena's thugs enter the living room from the kitchen and Jax knocks on the door. He wants Alexis to open up and Helena tells her to get rid of him or she will. Alexis answers the door but won't let Jax in. Jax asks what happened to Sonny's bodyguard and Alexis tells him he's in the kitchen having a cup of coffee. Jax knows then something is wrong and says "No one drinks your coffee" and runs into the apartment. One of Helena's men jumps him from behind as Jax sees Helena and says "what a surprise, Mrs. Cassadine." Just then one of the men knocks him out on the floor. They then take Alexis by the arms and lead her out the door as she's yelling to Helena that she better not hurt him.

Stavros and Stefan are in the makeshift fantasy bedroom Stavros has set up for Laura. Stefan keeps telling him that Laura won't be impressed and has disdain for Stavros but Stavros won't hear it. Stefan tells him that Laura already knows he's alive and in town and doesn't want to see him; that she's afraid of him. Stavros accuses him of turning her against him and says that he will get her back. He says that if Stefan hadn't interfered, Nikolas would never have turned against him and Laura would never have left him. Stefan tells him that she's not the same as he knew her and that he knows nothing about her. Stavros insists that he tell her what she's like and how to make her his. Stefan won't do it and Stavros has his men take him back to his "cage." Stavros then takes a sip of his liquor and then throws it against the wall. He grits his teeth and says "I will have her!"

11/2 Pleased to see the improvement in his friend’s condition, Roy kids Luke about his uncanny ability to land on his feet no matter what life throws at him. As Laura arms herself with a pistol, Lucky arrives and insists that his mother not get in harm's way. Stavros catches Gia phoning in a warning to Nikolas and realizes that the girl duped him. Alexis and Stefan are reunited when Helena's goon locks the siblings up together. Nikolas urges his brother to lay low while he and Laura face down the Cassadines. Jax appeals to Luke for help rescuing Alexis. Stavros, Laura and Nikolas have an unsettling family reunion.

11/5 Alexis and Stefan were still held captive, but not tied up anymore. They were ready to escape but Helena and one of the guards showed up with another prisoner, Bobbie. She went on at Stefan about what he does, and did, to people; Alexis tried to defend him but Bobbie wasn't listening. Eventually Stefan and Bobbie came to an understanding. She believed he was sincere when he apologized for what he did to her. She told him she believed he really loved Alexis. He said she was his sister and he loved her. Bobbie said she knew where he was coming from, there. They agreed they all had to band together against Helena.

Stavros and Nikolas had met face to face for the first time since Nikolas was a little boy. Stavros said how much he wanted them to be a family; Laura, Nikolas and him. Nikolas and Stavros hugged but then later Nikolas turned around and was ready to kill Stavros but couldn't go through with it. Stavros commented that it was a coward that killed an unarmed man. Laura defended Nikolas, saying that he was no coward, he was the bravest man she knew. He told the guard to take Nikolas and Gia to the conference room. He took Laura to another room which turned out to be decorated the same as the bridal bower on their wedding night. Stavros told Laura that he loves her more than he ever did.

Luke was antsy to leave the hospital and help Bobbie but Roy and Melissa told him to stay put. Roy started to leave and Melissa went into Luke's room to find him gone.

Jax called Helena and told her he was ready to make a deal. She came and he offered her champagne. When she finally went over to get the glass he put his hand around her throat. Skye came in just then and thanks to her interference, Helena got away. Jax as good as told her to get lost; that thanks to her a very dangerous woman just got away.

11/6 Alexis is taken to this conference room first. As she sits and waits, she has a vision of Sonny Corinthos coming to help her. Then she awakens to find Stefan and Bobbie being brought to the conference room too. The three of them decided to work together to bring Helena down and escape their imprisonment.

Stavros has turned over a new leaf, or at least he was making his best attempt. Stavros went after Laura with a fury and passion like never before. He spoke of how the last time it was a hollow victory to have Laura against her will. This time, he said, it has to come from you Laura. This time it will be different, Stavros promised. Laura was not convinced but was overwhelmed by Stavros' words and told him that this was not what she expected. Stavros reassured Laura that he would never harm their son Nikolas. Stavros just reiterated that he does not know his son and would like to know what he is like from Laura.

Stavros admitted to being in Port Charles for a while. He told Laura that he has watched her and Nikolas at the Nurses ball and during this time something unexpected happened to him. He continued, the longer I watched I began to see you with new eyes and feelings. I felt there was a reason for this second chance that I have been given at life. Also in this time of befriending Gia, has made me come to understand love and loving someone. “Laura, I love you.” Stavros said. “I will move heaven and earth to make you want me like I want you”.

Stavros moved closer and tried to kiss Laura, she pulled back and he grabbed her risk and brought her to her knees. Stavros was losing all his new found composure and had become angry. Stavros mentioned that he must see Luke because the last time that Laura was cooperative, she believed that Luke was dead, maybe he should be dead again. Laura jumped from the ground and asked Stavros not to go. As Stavros was walking to the door, Luke arrived at the maze.

11/7 In their underground cell, Stefan has no luck prying the vent cover off so he, Bobbie, and Alexis can crawl to safety. Guards enter and tell Bobbie that Helena wants to see her. Stefan tries to fight them off, but he is no match for them. They throw him against the wall and forcibly remove Bobbie. Stefan is beside himself over the whole situation. Alexis tries to calm him.

In the maze, Nikolas instructs Gia on how to get out of the underground compound. She is afraid to leave him, but does so in an attempt to find help for everyone. As she wanders the maze trying to find the exit, Nikolas locates Alexis and Stefan's cell. He approaches the guard outside and says that Stavros demands that his brother and sister be brought to him. Nikolas is there to carry out his father’s wishes. When the guard balks at letting the prisoners out, Nikolas asks him if he would like to face the wrath of his father. Stefan and Alexis hear what is going on outside the door and decide to play along. They are heard screaming from behind the door that they will never go with Nikolas. After much pressure is applied by Nikolas, the guard finally relents and opens the door. He is promptly kicked in the face by Stefan and locked in the cell. Nikolas tells the two that Stavros has Laura. The three agree that Stefan and Alexis will find Helena's lab and destroy it while Nikolas continues to search for his mother.

Lucky sees a vision of Elizabeth. "I came to help you," she says. Lucky tells her all the reasons why she can't. Liz tells him that she is in his heart and she knows he has the strength to fight Helena. She then gives Lucky a stack of photos to look through. As he does, he realizes that they are of the two of them in the past. When he asks Elizabeth who took the pictures she replies that he did. He found something significant about each moment and his mind took a picture of it. These pictures make up your life, they are the truth she says. Lucky asks Elizabeth why she is showing him these pictures. She tells him that these pictures are of things that Helena said she removed from his mind. "She lied because you can see all of these things right now...You can beat her," she tells Lucky. The two share a kiss. When Lucky opens his eyes, Elizabeth is gone.

Luke walks in on Stavros and Laura. He tells Stavros that he can't have Laura. Stavros replies that Luke can take Laura anytime he wants. Luke begins to taunt Stavros and a fight breaks out. While the two are trading blows, Luke yells for Laura to escape. Instead, she grabs a vase and tries to hit Stavros with it. Unfortunately, Stavros is able to knock Luke down and stop Laura. When Stavros goes after Luke again she begs him to stop. "I'll do whatever you want, don't hurt him," she cries. Incensed by Laura's remarks, Stavros rages against her and her love for Luke. "You have no idea what you have just done," he seethes as he exits, leaving her alone in the room with Luke.

Scott follows Roy onto the GH roof. He tries to convince Roy that his ideas of prying open the elevator doors and rappelling down the shaft are bad ones. While doing this, Scott also takes some pot shots at Luke. An angry Roy demands that Scott stop disparaging his friend. As they argue about Luke, Roy realizes that if they trace his steps, they may find another way into the lab. Roy places a call to Jax and tells him they may have found a way into the compound, but he needs Jax's help, now. Though Ned has not yet arrived, Kristina is able to convince him to meet with Roy by promising to open the door only to Ned. Jax heads out to meet with Roy.

Bobbie is brought to Helena. She asks Bobbie to tell her where Luke is. When Bobbie refuses, Helena calls to the guards to have Bobbie removed back to her cell. Bobbie grabs Helena and demands to know why she is causing so much pain to so many people. "Revenge," Helena calmly replies. Bobbie tells Helena that she will never have it. She will never be able to beat the Spencers, she tells Helena as she heads towards the door of the lab. Before she can open it, Stavros barges in and tells his mother it is time to "finish this."

Laura is able to revive Luke. Luke professes his love for his ex-wife. She tells him she loves him too. Nikolas enters. Luke tells Nikolas to get Laura out of the compound. Just then, the door opens and the trio is facing down a pair of guards.

Helena and Stavros wait in the lab while all the prisoners are brought to them (Luke, Laura, Nikolas, Stefan, Alexis, Bobbie, and Gia, who was captured before she was able to escape the maze). Stavros tells his mother that she is not to hurt his son or she will be sorry. Helena replies that she would not hurt Nikolas, but she does threaten Gia's life. When Alexis demands to know what is going on, Helena ecstatically replies, "What I've been waiting for...welcome to Endgame." All look puzzled. Helena continues and tells the group she has brought a special guest for the occasion, it's Lucky. "Lucky will fulfill his destiny," she tells the group. She holds up the Ice Princess and asks Lucky, "Do we understand each other?" Lucky replies, "Sure we do, I understand that this is a rock and you are pathetic." Helena is too stunned to speak.

11/8 Helena continued to hold her captives while Jax, Roy and Scotty searched for them. They found the cave and began their quest. All the while, Helena tried to use the Ice Princess to gain control over Lucky. He fought her as hard as he could and then it looked like she had him. All of the sudden, Lucky calls out "Now" and he and Nikolas jump the guards and knock them out. The good guys now have control and Helena doesn't like it. She teases them by saying that there are many more guards out there, more than they can fight. Nikolas decides that they should take their chances and run while they can. Just then Jax, Roy and Scotty burst through the door and surprise everyone. Stavros seems amused as the "white knights" take control of the situation and try to get everyone out. Stavros puts a right hook to Nikolas' jaw and runs out with Luke hot on his trail. Laura refuses to leave without Luke so she takes off after him.

Nikolas decides to go for the police and Gia tells him that she's going too. Nikolas grabs her hand and off they go. Alexis unties Stefan and he sits down to the computer to try to break the code to shut off the security system. Helena goads him by telling him he's too dumb to figure it out. Stefan tells her that she doesn't know him and has never tried to and that will prove her undoing. Jax drags her out with everyone else, leaving Stefan and Lucky to try to break the code. They all try to get through the maze (without Helena's help of course) and keep running into dead ends. Meanwhile, Luke realizes that this maze is from his dream just as he runs into Stavros. The two swap words and Stavros pulls a lever on the wall and Luke drops through it. Not before grabbing a hold of the edge and hangs on for dear life. Stavros throws a pebble in the hole to show Luke that it has no bottom and therefore he's doomed before he leaves. Laura stumbles upon Luke in the trap door and tries to help him but he won't let her.

11/9 Roy and Jax couldn't make their way out of the maze and they grew increasingly frustrated by Helena's taunts. Two guards found them and while Jax and Roy were fighting, Helena slipped away. Alexis and Bobbie stopped her before she could escape and they all managed to find their way out of the maze.

Laura valiantly tried to pull Luke out of the hole and just as her strength was waning, Scott came along and pulled Luke to safety. Rather than follow Laura and Scott out of the maze, Luke decided to go after Stavros.

Stefan diligently worked to crack the code of the maze and Lucky watched his back while he worked. As they waited to see if Stefan's password would work, Lucky and Stefan apologized to each other for past grievances. The computer alerted them that "failsafe" was going to be instituted in fifteen minutes. Guessing that meant that the maze was going to shut down, they hurried away.

Gia and Nikolas were trapped in the bower by one of the henchmen, but Stavros arrived and called him off. Nikolas asked what his father planned to do with them and Stavros told them both to leave and reach safety. At the door, Nikolas turned and asked Stavros to come with them. Though visibly moved, Stavros insisted that his place was there. He told Nikolas what a good man he was and bade him to have a good life.

Outside of the maze, everyone embraced and rejoiced that they were all safe. The crowning moment came when Mac and Taggert placed Helena under arrest. The only worry left was Luke who had yet to emerge from the maze.

Stavros and Luke met again when Luke found him lamenting his losses in the bower. Stavros attempted to stab him, but Luke tore off a metal post from the bed and went after his enemy. They ended up back over the bottomless pit and Luke pushed Stavros in. Stavros managed to grab hold of the ledge and Luke loomed over him. He gloated that his face was once again the last vision Stavros had before death. Laughing maniacally, Stavros let go and fell backwards into the hole. Luke got out of the maze just as the last door closed and he ran straight into Laura's waiting arms. He held her and told her that all the monsters were gone and the game was finally over.

11/12 Helena was carted off the jail while most of her victims were at the station to give their statements. Helena finally gets what's coming to her. Lucky went to her jail cell to talk to her. She thought she might still have power over him when she mentioned 'protect your queen' but her spell over him is gone. He told her so in no uncertain terms, then went to be with the people who really love him. The remaining Cassadines and the Spencers could live in harmony. Gia handcuffed herself to Nikolas and Taggert informed her he couldn't find the key. He was still not so sure about Nikolas but Gia loves Nikolas and Nikolas didn't seem to mind the 'attachment'. Laura asked Scott and Luke to come by the house but Luke declined. Stefan told Nikolas there was someone he wanted him to meet. He, Stefan, had another sister, Kristina.

Later, alone in her jail cell, dressed in the ghastly orange jumpsuit, Helena finally realized she was truly alone and in jail. She kind of slumped down on the cot and, heaven forbid, was that an actual tear in her eye?

Alexis and Kristina had a nice reunion. Kristina lent Alexis an outfit that wasn't exactly Alexis' usual attire and she was a little uncomfortable wearing it. The music and refreshments arrived and they were all partying when Stefan, Nikolas and Gia arrived. Alexis went over and hugged Stefan and he asked about her outfit. She said Kristina was trying to loosen her up and he was next. "I don't think so," Stefan replied. Kristina and Nikolas were introduced and he called her Aunt Kristina but she objected to the 'aunt' bit. She informed him it was just Kristina. She saw that Nikolas and Gia were handcuffed together and asked if she was the arresting officer or his girlfriend. Taggert came along with the key and finally unlocked the handcuffs. Jax apologized to Stefan for blaming him for everything. Stefan accepted his apology. Gia commented to Nikolas that Kristina doesn't fit the Cassadine profile, she's upbeat and fun.

11/13 The Cassadine family had their celebration at Ned's gatehouse. In attendance were Nikolas, Gia, Kristina, Ned, Alexis, Jax, and Stefan. All was going well. Stefan asked Jax about the properties that he had purchased while he was aggravating Helena. Jax said that they were his, but was always up for a wager. He asked Stefan if he would play. Jax said that he would return all properties if Stefan chose the highest card and if Jax chose the highest card then he would keep the properties, Spoon Island, and Wyndemere. Stefan said that they would have to ask Nikolas. Nikolas agreed. Ned went to get the cards. Stefan pulled a Jack. Jax pulled a King, but switch it to an eight to keep Alexis and Kristina happy. Alexis then thanks Jax on the sly for tanking the game. Nikolas and Gia had to go because Nikolas wanted to stop by his mom’s house. He gave all his hugs good-bye and even to Stefan. They both exchanged a strong hug and loving words.

11/20 Luke went to visit the jail diva herself Helena Cassadine. It was truly amazing though becauseHelena is probably the only woman who could even look good in an orange colored prison overall. Helena told him to enjoy his brief victory because having money works wonders. Well-paid attorneys can make miracles and I will be out of her by tomorrow. Unfortunately her attorney was Virgil Armstead the local lawyer for person who cannot afford their own lawyer. Helena screams at the guard and tells him this is not her lawyer because her lawyer is Aaron Zellenger. At that moment Stefan walks in and advises Helena that he has taken over all her holdings and Aaron Zellenger is astronomically expensive and she could not afford to have a lawyer like that so she is stuck with the public defender.

Luke and Stefan laugh together and in unison about Helena's defeat. Luke leaves but Stefan has a few more words for his mother. He told her that she can't pretend to enjoy this and you will stay her alone while all the people you hurt embrace themselves. Later on the pier Stefan caught up to Luke and ask him to join him in a drink. He told Luke that for this battle they fought on the same side and their grudge match was ending now. Luke remained skeptical. Stefan told him that regardless to whether they had the drink or not he was calling it quits for the vendetta between the Cassadines and the Spencers. Luke then yell out it will have to be a bar scotch not vintage port. Stefan asked if Luke was trying to broaden his palette. The two shared several shots and cheered to their families and the end of an era.

11/26 Nikolas went to see Helena and she pointed out that he was still a Cassadine. He was different from the Spencers, he had a destiny to fulfill. He said he was just trying to make sense of everything. Gia and Lucky showed up and Lucky told Helena that she didn't have any power over Nikolas anymore. Gia told Helena that if she was deluded enough to think her voodoo still worked, she should try it on her inmates upstate. Helena said that Nikolas came of his own accord. Gia said she had no hold over Nikolas, she never had. Helena told Nikolas she loved him and if he changed his mind he was always welcome to come back any time and visit. He told her she was where she belonged, justice had been served and there was really nothing more to say. He left then with Lucky and Gia.

11/28 Luke arrives at the PCPD to meet with Mac.  Mac tells Luke that the PCPD cannot find any physical evidence of a lab in the cave and without that, they may have to let Helena go. Luke stares at Mac in disbelief. He presents Mac with all the other evidence, from Lucky's brainwashing to the kidnapping of his son and Helena’s own relatives, that should keep her locked up. The only things that may stick are the kidnapping charges Mac states to Luke. Luke becomes increasingly upset at the situation. Mac asks Luke and Lucky to wait while he attends to other matters. Luke spies Helena. Father and son go out to confront her. The trio exchange words. As Helena is being escorted back to her cell, she warns Luke that just because she is in jail does not mean that his family's misfortune has concluded.
