Spencer vs Cassidine #15  August 12 - November 5, 1999 - 8 hour edit on two 4 hr dvds

DVD #15A  Liz and Laura don't understand why Katherine would come to Kelly's unless it's to find Nik and bug Liz. Liz says she stiffs her on tips. Laura tells her to spill something on Katherine the next time. Liz giggles, but Laura says she really wants her to do it. Laura will take full responsibility.

Nikolas goes to the hospital to talk to Laura about Katharine’s supposed pregnancy. Laura tells him to watch out for Katharine's emotional blackmail and that Katharine's hurt feelings are her own problem. Nik isn't able to tell his mother that Katharine is about to make her a grandmother, but he does hug her and Laura tells him she's there to help.

At the hospital, Katherine confronts Laura. The two argue about Nikolas' welfare before Laura leaves in frustration. On the docks, Stefan sneaks up behind Laura. The two share several kisses and heartfelt sentiments before Stefan inquires as to the future of their relationship. He tells Laura that he would like her to be in his life permanently and then offers to take her home.

Mac talks to Laura about Faison. He tells her about Faison and to be careful. After showing her his picture, Laura recognizes him as Mr. Gardner and tells him that he came into the office and made a donation to the outreach program. Mac says that is the name he uses in Europe as a fence. Again he warns her to be extra careful because he is a psychopath. This is the guy that murdered his brother and sister in law and he won't stop until he gets him. As soon as Mac leaves Laura calls information to get a listing for Mr. Gardner.

Laura meets with Faison on the docks and gives him his donation back, he tells her that she does not have to approve everyone that makes a donation. She rips up the check. He starts to say something about her children and she screams at him not to say anything about her children and if he goes near them she promises him she will take him down herself. Faison is trying to calm Laura down when Felicia comes by and yells at him to leave Laura alone or she will call the police. Taggert pours his drink on Faison's shoe. He tells Faison that every cop in town is watching him, that means 200 pairs of eyes are watching every move he makes. When Faison starts to bull Taggert, he is told that if he is trying to figure him out it is easy, he is the guy that hates crooks. Faison makes a call about Master Spencer and we see a framed picture of Felicia on his desk with him touching in gently with his hand.

Stefan goes upstairs to visit his mother. He informs her that he has consolidated control of the family holdings back into his hands. Faison is waiting in the wings and hears everything. He looks like he’s getting a clue. Stefan informs Helena he is now her guardian and Laura breaks in to tell him that she's leaving. He immediately assumes it's for good. They talk about her leaving to go to the Upper Banks for her mother's evaluation and that she'll only be gone for a month. She wants him to call her if anything happens with Nikolas because she doesn't want any of her children going through a crisis without her. He surprises Laura and tells her that Nikolas confided in him that he misses Lucky.

Faison goes to Helena's and tells her he overheard her son saying antidote and he's going to find it for her. Laura helps Leslie pack for their trip to North Carolina. She tells Leslie about Faison and his connection to Robert and Anna. Laura wants to leave town for a while and later tries to get Nikolas to join her and Lulu. Nikolas tells her he is staying and Laura makes him promise to tell Stefan if Faison tries to contact Nikolas.

Tony gives Helena an exam and then tells Stefan that there is no change, and she really should be in a full time nursing home. He tells him he will think about it.  Stefan is going over the places that Helena could go. He mentions Texas and then Switzerland. He muses that she could go to the same place that her cure is, but then says no, she will stay right here with him. Unknown is that Faison has been listening in and knows everything now. He picks up the phone and books a flight to Switzerland.

Faison is in Zurich posing as a computer repairman. He easily finds Helena’s file, guesses the password, and finds the formula that will either cure or kill her.

Faison shows Helena the antidote he obtained in Switzerland. He injects the drug into Helena's IV but it has no immediate effect. He is mystified when Helena fails to respond to his cues, but he assures her that he will carry out their scheme as planned. After Faison leaves, Helena begins to show signs of movement.

Luke calls Felicia and she tells him there is some stuff that he has to know but the first thing is that Bobbie has been in an accident. Faison is looking to see if Luke has made the drop. Faison is talking to a stranger, he tells him that when Spencer makes the drop to keep him here, he does not want him back in Port Charles until he is ready for him.

Stefan confronts Helena, asking if she is happy now that Katherine is pregnant and accusing that it was all Helena's fault. After Stefan leaves, Helena says no she is not happy and she did not do it, but she can undo it.

Faison is worried about Luke being back in Port Charles. Luke has gone to GH to visit Bobbie, of course he rushed right back after hearing about her accident. Bobbie stirs and is happy to see him, he tells her that Carly was there all night. She asks him how he found out about her and he tells her that their guardian angel told him, meaning Felicia. What happened asks Luke. Bobbie tells him that it was all her fault, they were driving up to his cabin and she got acting around, she kisses him and he goes to kiss her and a deer is right there and he swerved to miss it and lost control of the car. Luke tells her it is not her fault it was an accident. Bobby asks about Jerry and is told he is not good, of course she wants to go see him. He goes to get a wheelchair and some help.

Felicia comes into Bobbie's room and finds Luke. She tells him who Faison really is and Luke flips. She reminds him of how smart and how much help Robert had and he still ended up dead, telling him he use Anna to get to Robert, like he is using her to get to Mac, the girls to get to her and Laura to get to Luke. He thanks her for not telling Mac and protecting her. But he says that there is things that can be done if someone is willing to do them. He cannot believe that there is no evidence when he blew up a whole cruise ship, but she tells him it has disappeared. She calms him down some before he goes looking for Faison. The story ends as Luke is about to place a call when Faison turns to see him. The two of them stand motionlessly looking at each other, neither saying a word.

Luke and Faison face off on the dock. Luke lets Faison know that he knows who he is and you can tell it does not go over well. He asks Luke where his diamonds are and is told that you cannot deliver diamonds to a dead man and if he wasn't dead now he could be soon. Luke accuses him of killing his best friend and making content with Laura and tells him he will pay. Luke tells him to tell him some stories and then go back to the realm of the dead. Felicia hugs Luke and tells him she is so glad he is ok and if he found Faison. He says he talked to Faison and he is not happy that his timetable got broken.

Felicia goes to see Luke again in his office and asks him what was his business with Faison. He tries to skirt around the issue but after she promises that she will not tell Mac he told her he has five millions dollars worth of diamonds. She begs him not to push Faison that he likes to play with his prey. Luke thinks he has the upper hand because he has the diamonds. Faison is really upset but he thinks he has the upper hand because he has Spencer's son.

Luke invites Bobbie to breakfast and tells her that if anything strange happens to come right to him because Faison likes to toy with the women in the lives of his adversaries. Bobbie tells him to be careful as he has never been up against Faison before and asks him if he likes it that Felicia was worried about him. He blows it off and says it's nice to have friends.

Faison meets with Felicia and asks her to give Luke a message. Luke shows up and tells him to give it himself. He threatens Luke that if he doesn't get his merchandise he's going to take something away from Luke that is valuable to him. Luke and Felicia squared off against Faison and agreed to partner up for another adventure. Faison hinted that he had "something Luke treasured" but wouldn't say what.  Luke refuses to complete his deal with Faison. When Felicia tells Faison that she will never again be a go-between, Faison questions the validity of her assertion, claiming that she is already caught between her husband and Luke. Faison then threatens Luke before quickly disappearing. After he has departed, Luke explains to Felicia that he is using the diamonds as protection, but that the jewels are not in his direct possession, but instead in a bank in Mexico. Felicia leaps at the opportunity to join Luke in another adventure and offers to watch his back while he smuggles the diamonds into the U.S.

Luke asks Jason to come clean about Sonny and tell him what is going on, because he don't want to go down with him. Jason says he can't, and that they will no more in court tomorrow. Sonny will be okay as long as the FBI don't come up with anything more. Then Luke begs Jason to get out while he can, and not go down with Sonny. Jason refuses and says that he is standing by his best friend no matter what the consequences may be.

Felicia asks Luke to make a deal with Mac and turn in Faison (with the diamonds) and Mac will grant Luke immunity. Luke says NO WAY and that he will eliminate Faison in his own way.

Katherine informs Helena of Nikolas' proposal. She outlines her strategy of stalling the marriage for a bit while she fins a surrogate mother for her child. After Katherine leaves, Helena ensures that the flowers from "Ms. Bell" were safely delivered to Laura in North Carolina.

Bobbie comes to see Luke who is upset that the IRS audited him because of Sonny. He says he is going to fire Claude every day until he actually leaves. Bobbie tells him that she is going to marry Jerry. Luke gives her a hard time, but Bobbie just laughs and tells him that he is taking it a lot better than she thought he was going to. She tells him that she had almost given up, but now she is going to build a life  with Jerry. Luke is glad that she has not set a wedding date yet.

Felicia arrives and is very happy for Bobbie's engagement. Luke and Felicia discuss plans to go to Mexico, she tells him she can leave in a day or so, that she has told Mac that she is going to Chicago. He questions her if she really wants to do this but she explains that the diamonds are the only thing that they have to hold over Faison's head and that she has to do something because Mac is turning into a different person. After he convinces her that he can speak Spanish she leaves and we see him with a tape recorder trying to learn Spanish.

Laura is back in town and confronts Nikolas about Katharine's pregnancy. The look on her face was priceless when he tells her that he's asked Katharine to marry him. She says she'll support him no matter what his decision, but does reiterate that Katharine is manipulating him. Laura meets up with Katharine outside of Kelly's and tells her if Nikolas can't get her out of his life she'll do it for him and Tammy overhears the threat.

Luke watches Laura and Lulu in the park. He comes over and scoops up Lulu. He and Laura share an electric look, then Luke is distracted by the sight of Faison, chilling out in a chair a few yards away. Faison waves and Lulu waves back. Luke pulls down her hand and passes her back to her mother so he can go over and threaten Faison's life. Faison unconvincingly claims that his presence in the park is just a coincidence. Luke seems flustered, Faison isn't. He says a calm, patronizing goodbye and leaves. Luke asks Laura whether Faison has done this before?

Luke warns her to get in touch with him immediately if she ever spots Faison again. She points out that Luke is not all that easy to get in touch with. He gives her a new cell phone number and admits he'll be gone again tomorrow for about a week. He tells Laura very sincerely that she looks beautiful and she thanks him, also very sincerely. They trade some very breathy, charged pleasantries, "Are you well?", "Is there anything I should know?", etc. They don't exchange any real information (they're clearly thinking about Stefan and Felicia respectively) and he breaks the extreme tension by going over to whisk up Lulu again.

Luke, having left the park, arrives and sits down beside Sonny on a bench. Luke says, "Hey, partner." Sonny says that's the last thing he thought Luke would call him today. Luke says he thinks it's the last time, and he's going to miss it. The partnership's lasted five years; it's as old as Lulu, "but not as pretty," Luke says. Luke runs down the list of all the drive-bys, audits, etc. that have haunted him since Sonny became his partner. But what irks him, he says, is not all that stuff but the fact that Sonny's left him in the dark again. He gives Sonny a form and tells him to sign it, "Let's put this sick puppy out of its misery."

Sonny signs the papers and hands them back to Luke. They're both bummed. Sonny also seems to be a little annoyed, "I'd have fallen on a few swords for you." Luke says Sonny has done a lot to help him. For example, when he was trying to get Laura and her mother away from Stefan Cassadine. Sonny says, "Uh, could you maybe think of another example?" and they both chuckle. Luke gives Sonny his check for his half of the club, which Sonny seems to have forgotten he has coming. Sonny says, "So that's it?"

Luke asks, "You want flowers?" Sonny says he thought they had more than a business relationship, and Luke says they'll find out now. Sonny tells Luke, as a P.S., that Mac is still bugging him about Faison although Sonny knows nothing about him. He warns Luke this has got to mean Faison is trouble and tells Luke he still has his back if Luke needs him. "Well," says Luke, "the crazy thing about this whole deal is that I still don't know anybody I would rather have watch my back." Sonny nods.  "But," Luke continues, "I think you ought to put your full attention on the FBI," and he walks away. Sonny looks resigned.

Back at the park, Stefan shows up. Stefan is mad at Laura for not telling him that Faison is menacing her. She's mad at him back, for not telling her about Kat's "pregnancy." Stefan defends himself, saying he didn't tell her because Nik didn't want him to, and their father/son bond is strained these days. Laura apologizes to Stefan. She tells him she overreacted because this situation reminded her of the last time she came home from NC and Nik had been shot and Lucky had moved out. She tells him the Faison thing is no big deal. She tells him about the flowers and card she thinks Kat sent her. Both Stefan and Laura mention the possibility of killing Katherine during this conversation. Stefan mentions poison while Laura says, "I feel like I could kill her with my bare hands!"

Luke is now alone on the docks, eating chips. Felicia joins him and they banter. Apparently she's the one who bought him the new cell phone, and now she's calling it every hour to make sure he hasn't thrown it away. Felicia tells Luke she's talked to her contact in Mexico, who is going to help them for free, as a favor. Luke is uncomfortable with that. "If he can't be bought, I don't do business with him." Felicia tells Luke she and her grandmother have known this guy forever. He says friendship is a bad basis for business. "In cash we trust!" She says he's wrong, people always do more for people they love. Luke, for example, always does. He says even he gets wise to people eventually, such as Sonny. This line of conversation gets him agitated and they change the subject. Felicia is eating Luke's chips now. They announce they're leaving tomorrow. Felicia reaches out to shake on it and calls him "partner." He tells her not to use that word unless she really means it. She says she always means it, and they shake and have a meaningful glance.

At the airport, Felicia is saying goodbye to Mac. He gives Felicia one final goodbye kiss and tells her to have a safe trip. As she sadly watches him go, Luke sneaks up and sits down beside her. Felicia is feeling guilty for lying to Mac because he is being so understanding. Seeing her distress, Luke suggests that they call off the trip. Felicia tells Luke that he is the one who is supposed to keep her going, not talk her into backing out. Luke says that she seems to be deeply conflicted at the moment because she doesn't like lying to Mac. Felicia says that she is doing this for Mac. Faison has Mac on the edge. If she doesn't do something, Faison will give him one final shove.

Luke points out that Mac is pretty capable of taking care of himself. Felicia says that Mac is frustrated and ready to explode. She has to try and stop it. This thing with him is the only way she knows how. Luke says that this thing with him isn't iron clad. This is only phase one of a multi-phase plan. Phase one is to get the diamonds back. The rest will come to him as he goes. Faison is easily thrown. Faison is really bothered by not knowing where the diamonds are. Felicia says that they want to throw Faison. They want him to be caught in his own trap. She asks Luke how Faison will react when the tables are turned. Luke smiles and tells Felicia that she is diabolical. Felicia says only when her loved ones are threatened. Luke tells Felicia that they are both lethal when their loved ones are threatened.

At Kelly's, Laura arrives to talk to Liz. Liz confesses to Laura that she is worried about Nikolas. Laura says that she already knows everything, including Nikolas' proposal of marriage. Liz asks Laura if she is the only one who thinks that marriage is the worst possible mistake that Nikolas can make. Laura assures her that it isn't her. Liz sarcastically asks Laura to guess who gave her the news. Laura says that she is sure that Katherine couldn't contain herself. Liz says that Katherine gave her the happy announcement packaged with a plea for advice, even though she can't stand her. Liz tells Laura that she told Nikolas he was going to ruin his life and now he is mad at her. Laura assures Liz that Nikolas values her friendship too much to stay mad. Liz says that friendship with Nikolas isn't the point. The point is stopping Nikolas from ruining his life. She was hoping that Laura could talk some sense into him.

Liz asks Laura if there isn't any way she can make Nikolas rethink this. Laura says that she would love to take Nikolas by the shoulders and shake him, but if she did, it would probably drive Nikolas further away which is exactly what Katherine wants. Liz agrees that that is exactly what Katherine wants. She berates herself for falling right into Katherine's trap. She tells Laura that Katherine must have felt so powerful when she walked in on her and Nikolas. Laura looks horrified as Liz explains how Katherine arranged for her to walk in while she and Nikolas were being intimate. Liz thinks that it is awfully convenient that that was the last time Katherine and Nikolas were together and supposedly when Katherine became pregnant.

Laura asks Liz if she thinks Katherine is faking. Liz says that she did at first, but it's pretty hard to fake a pregnancy. Laura says that it is the oldest trick in the book. Liz asks how anyone can fake a pregnancy in this day and age. Laura says that it is a little outrageous. Liz says that that sounds like Katherine, subtlety is not her syle. She has never known anyone who acts so obvious and gets away with so much. Laura assures Liz that Katherine hasn't gotten away with anything yet. She tells Liz that if Katherine is lying, she will deal with her.

At the airport, Felicia and Luke are preparing to leave. Luke hands Felicia her fake passport and other ID. She laughs at the name and Luke holds up his ID saying that he is proud to be her husband. Faison is watching from around a corner as Felicia and Luke board the plane.  Katherine is drinking her champagne when she hears a knock on the door. She quickly stashes the drink and opens the door. When she sees Laura standing there she tells her that she really doesn't have time right now. Laura marches in anyway and accuses Katherine of not really being pregnant.

Laura tells Katherine that she does not believe her and that they are going to go to GH and confirm that Katherine is really pregnant. Katherine, of course, stalls in every way possible, including belittling Laura. Finally, Katherine hands Laura an envelope containing a sonogram and a prescription for prenatal pills. Laura is still not convinced that Katherine is truthful, but she manages to get a phone number for Katherine's OB GYN in order to verify test results. As soon as Laura leaves, Katherine drinks a glass of champagne and toasts her incredulous efforts. She then telephones her supposed doctor and warns him that Laura might soon stop in for a visit.

At Kelly's, Elizabeth asks Laura about her encounter with Katherine. Laura informs the young girl that she still does not trust Katherine and vows to protect her son. Taggert looks on from the doorway of the restaurant and asks Laura if she is okay. Laura assures the detective that she is fine and then after Taggert is gone, she asks Liz to be a strong friend to Nikolas. At Wyndemere, Laura asks Stefan if there is any method by which they can prevent Katherine from manipulating their son. Stefan claims that although certain methods exist, he cannot implement them because he promised Nikolas that he would not interfere.

Felicia and Luke are in Mexico. She tells Luke that he has very good intuition, the diamonds are stashed close to her old stomping grounds. He goes to get the diamonds and she was going to wait for him and stay out of trouble. As soon as Luke leaves, a man comes by and asks her how a man could leave such a beautiful women alone. She brushes him off and watches him go to another women. Felicia tries to protect the women but the man will not stop, then she breaks a chair over his back, only to find out this man was the Chief of Police and this woman was his girlfriend. They haul her off to jail just as Luke comes in, he watches and then goes and gets a drink, ordering the whole bottle. Luke goes to the jail, Felecia tells him that he has to get her out, she cannot call Mac.

Luke talks to the policeman, gives him a lot of cash and one of the diamonds. Just as it looks like he has succeeded, Luke's bad spanish gets him. Instead of saying his wife doesn't belong in jail, he says your wife belongs in a sewer. The cell door opens and Luke is in with Felicia. With their trial set for one week hence, Felicia tells Luke they're going to have to bite the bullet and call Mac for help. Luke urges Felicia not to call her husband and suggests that they simply stage a jailbreak instead. Later, the two overpower their guard and make off with the officer's gun.

Felicia hates the heat. Luke wants to teach her how to use a gun. He gives her a few pointers and then turns his back to her and is looking in the bag. He sees her pointing the gun at him, he jumps and tells her not to do that. She fires twice, killed a rattlesnake. Where did you learn to shoot like that? Grandmother taught me how to take care of myself. Luke is still concerned that her friend that is helping them is doing it for free. She tells him memories about her growing up with this friend, Travis. They build a fire so Travis can find them. She is thinking of her live and love with Frisco and sharing it with Luke.

Luke tells her that she has a great cover, PTA and a couple of kids, but she has never lost the wild child inside of her. She tells him that he is like coming home, finding someone she has lost, finding the wild child. He doesn't warn her away from danger like the other men in her life. The PTA and the kids are not a cover, she loves them and loves Mac. Felicia is wondering if her and Luke would still be friends if it was not for Faison. He asks her you mean are we real? Lets find out. They kiss. There is the bird call, she calls out for Travis but it is Faison that steps out of the shadows.

Liz tells Laura that Nikolas invited her to his wedding. Katherine has told her that she is bad for the baby with her open hostility. Laura gets her to promise to always be there for Nikolas. Laura comes to see Stefan, wanting to talk about Nikolas. She had hoped to come home with an open heart and ready to move on, but she is scared of losing Nikolas, and she cannot bare the thought of losing another son. Stefan assures her that they are not going to lose him, especially to the like of Katherine Bell. We could make the wrong move and lose Nikolas forever, Laura is still scared. Stefan is more worried that Nikolas will never know what they have, the feeling of being complete, of having everything they ever wanted. "You are a patient man". He tells her he would never be able to get through this wedding without her.

Faison interrupts Luke and Felicia's moment with sarcastic comments about what a pleasure it is to find them. Luke says that someone could mistake Faison's intentions, thinking he was trying to rob them. Faison asks how it could be robbery when the diamonds belong to him. Luke says that he doesn't have the diamonds. Faison responds by cocking his gun and aiming it at Luke.

Luke explains to Faison that he had a little glitch getting the jewels out of Europe, but he assures Faison that they are safe. Faison doesn't believe that their trip to Mexico is not related to the diamonds. Felicia tries to explain that the trip is for research on her new book, but Faison doesn't believe them. He grabs Felicia and holds the gun to her head. He demands that Luke turn over the diamonds if he does not want Felicia to get hurt.

Faison pulls Felicia in with a death grip, threatening to hit her in such a way as to paralyze her, and points the gun at Luke. Luke agrees to give the diamonds to Faison if he promises not to hurt Felicia. Luke slowly removes the diamonds from the bag and shows them to Faison. Luke hands the diamonds to Faison and demands that he release Felicia. Faison says that he could just kill them both, but he isn't that kind of man. He orders Luke to sit down and then hits Felicia in the back causing her to fall to the ground screaming in pain. Faison slinks away and Luke immediately rushes to Felicia's side. Through her tears, she tells Luke that she can't feel her legs.

Luke is relieved when Felicia begins to regain some feeling and movement in her legs. He helps Felicia up and calmly starts repacking his duffel bag. Felicia can't believe that Luke is so calm. She wants to rush after Faison. Luke says that he is not going to drag Felicia, who might possibly have a spinal injury, across the desert chasing a maniac with a bag of glass. He thinks they should just stay put until Felicia feels better. Felicia looks confused and then shocked when Luke tells her that he gave Faison fake diamonds. Felicia insists that the diamonds looked real. Luke says that he gave Faison cubic zirconias. They do technically belong to Faison since he bought them with Faison's money.

Felicia wants to know where the real diamonds are? Luke pulls another bag out of his satchel and asks her to tell him if these aren't a girls friend. Felicia smiles and tells him that her partner is her best friend. Luke says that their psychotic shadow doesn't think he has any leverage over them anymore. Faison always knew that he could put pressure on Mac by using Felicia, but now he knows that the same thing will work on him. Luke says that they are never going to beat Faison at his own game so they are going to have to make him play theirs.

Felicia and Luke are back in Port Charles. They are at Luke's and he gets them so cheese fries. Felicia tells Luke that he can't hide the diamonds in his safe, that is the first place Faison would look. Luke thinks for a few minutes and then says he has the perfect place, the coffee warehouse. Felicia has some cheese on her face and Luke leans down and wipes it off and goes to kiss her, she says she has to call Mac, but she cannot get Mac, no one seems to know where he is at, he is not home or has he called in. Felicia goes home to wait, she is worried that Mac figure out that she was not in Chicago or that he followed Faison and knows she was in Mexico. Luke calms her down, saying that Faison has to be back in Port Charles by now at the most Mac would only be half a day behind him, if he was following him. He offers to take her home and gets a no answer. "Are you sure?" he asks again. "I could make sure everything is okay." Again she says no and tells him she will get a cab at the corner.

Stefan visits Laura, he wants to go for a walk with her. She is just leaving a not for her mom and Lulu when Nikolas comes to the door. He tells them about the wedding and they say that they will be there. He is going to set up a trust fund for the baby and Stefan asks if he wants him to go help, the answer is sure. He waits for his father outside and Stefan kisses Laura bye telling her that this is where Katherine is gonna try to get her hands on the family fortune.

Faison is on the phone with a contact to buy the diamonds. He is looking at them and realizes they are not real. He gets off the phone and losses his cool, throwing things against the wall saying, “DAMM YOU SPENCER!” A man visits Helena, his name is Arorie , as soon as Stefan leaves them along they kiss. She gives him a letter and tells him to get the rest of the information out of the safe. I know what you want me to do he says. They kiss again and he leaves. Later he arrives at Laura’a and tells her that he works for Helena and that she wanted her to have this.

She does not understand but takes the package and goes inside locking the doors behind her. She opens the package and first reads the letter from Helena telling her that she left instructions to give this package to Laura with her servant in case anything happened to her. The letter goes on to say that the procedure that saved Katherine's life also made her barren. She cannot have children. “Oh My God”, says Laura, “she is not pregnant, she has been faking this whole time."

Laura is looking at the documents that Helena had given here. Leslie comes down and asks why she hadn't slept, her bed was never slept in. She shows the documents to Leslie, you are a doctor, tell me is this is true. Leslie reads everything and then says it could be or it could not be, would have to examine Katherine to be sure. Leslie tells her to go confront Katherine before the wedding, then follow her gut.

Bobbie visits Luke and asks what is wrong, he is usually cheery when he comes back from one of his mystery trips. “Can I do anything?” she asks. Yes, tell me you have come to your senses and are not going to marry Jerry Jacks. He tells her marriage is a ball and chain. No it is not. Close enough he says. "Even your wacko daughter agrees with me on this one." Bobbie laughs. “I don't expect you to dance at my wedding, but you better be there.” Luke hopes that she hasn’t yet set a date? She informs him yes for  November 19th. He questions, “What is the matter with spring, long engagements, 5 years, after I am dead? Bobbie laughs. Jerry comes in and sees Bobbie. Bobbie tells him that he doesn’t have to meet with Luke. She then leaves the men alone. Luke asks Jerry, “Give me one reason why I should be happy? Jerry tells him whether they make peace or not, he is going to marry Bobbie. Luke tells him he talks a damn good game. Bobbie is not a game says Jerry.

DVD #15B  Felicia worries to Luke that Faison saw them kiss and they are going to be blackmailed by Faison with the threat of him telling Mac. Luke says don't give Faison that power over you, it was you that told me how good he is at mind games, don't let him play them on you. Even if he told Mac about the kiss, he would ask you and believe you when you said that it hadn’t happened. Felicia worries that Mac trusts her and she is supposed to be someone who deserves that trust. He tells her, “Anytime you want you can walk out that door and never look back.” She wants to know if he can stop (meaning their relationship?). He responds, that he doesn’t have to as he doesn’t have any complications. She observes, “I can't stop any easier than you can, lets just go forward and get Faison."

At Wyndemere, Helena is standing in front of the window. She smiles and says to herself, "What a perfect day for a wedding that will never take place". Nikolas comes asks Stefan if Katherine has arrived. Stefan explains that she has gone upstairs to get dressed. He then asks Nikolas to please not go through with the wedding. Stefan tells Nikolas that when he was a child, he thought often of Nikolas' wedding day. He always thought that the circumstances would be different. He knows that Nikolas has already made his choice, but he always imagined Nikolas' wedding taking place in the chapel on their island.

He gives Nikolas a signet ring, explaining that the ring was a gift from his own grandfather for his 21st birthday. Stefan tells Nikolas that he would like him to have it. Nikolas emotionally tells Stefan that he is honored to have the ring. Stefan replies that he is honored to have Nikolas as his son. He hates what Katherine is forcing Nikolas to do, but he admires Nikolas' honor in trying to do the right thing. Laura arrives with her mother and Lesley Lu, who is delighted at the prospect of being a flower girl. As Nikolas hugs Laura in greeting, he looks over her shoulder and sees that Liz has arrived for the wedding.

Katherine is dressed in her wedding gown. She is in Helena's room taunting her about the upcoming nuptials. She whirls around in her wedding dress and wanders to the window. She gleefully shouts out that today is the day she finally frees Nikolas from the bonds of the Cassadine family.

Sonny calmly explains to Luke that if the FBI found the diamonds in the warehouse, things could have looked pretty bad. He asks Luke if maybe he could have come up with a better place to hide the diamonds. Luke explains that Faison is looking for the diamonds and he knew that Faison would not look for them in Sonny's warehouse. He tells Sonny that if it is a problem, he will move the diamonds. Jason tells Luke that he already moved the diamonds. He can't tell him where, but he can take him there. Sonny assures Luke that the diamonds will be safe where they are. Luke thanks them, but says that he will just keep them out of it. Jason says that he will take Luke to the diamonds immediately. Sonny cautions Luke that keeping the diamonds from Faison can only make things worse. Luke says that he knows, but says that this thing with Faison is kind of a grudge match. He wishes Sonny luck when he hears that the charges have been dropped and then leaves with Jason to get his diamonds.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas comes down the stairs laughing. He tells Liz that Lesley Lu banished him from the room so that she could get ready for the wedding. Liz laughs with him and says that Lulu just wants to make an entrance. She tells Nikolas that the little girl is so excited about the wedding. She couldn't stop talking about it in the car. Nikolas smiles sadly and says that at least one person is happy, well two if you count Katherine. They laugh together, but then Nikolas gets serious. He asks Liz if she will still be a part of his life once he is married.

Meanwhile, the blushing bride to be continues to taunt Helena. As she goes on and on about how wonderful her life with Nikolas will be, Laura arrives. She angrily calls Katherine a lying bitch. Katherine sweetly asks Laura if they really need to have this discussion in the "sick room". Laura suggests that they go out on the parapet if Katherine is so concerned about Helena's well being. Helena's turns her head and smile evilly as she watches the women leave the room.

Once on the parapet, Laura shows Katherine the medical file she received from Helena. She tells Katherine that her pregnancy is a lie and that she is infertile. Katherine asks Laura how gullible Laura thinks sheis. Like she would really believe that Laura would have the files from Helena. She offers to call her own doctor if Laura would like. Laura laughs and says that Katherine must have paid her doctor a fortune to forge the documents Katherine showed her. Laura explains that Helena arranged to have the medical file delivered to her. Obviously Helena was as sickened at the thought of Katherine manipulating Nikolas as Laura is. Katherine dares Laura to tell Nikolas and Stefan what she thinks she knows, but she cautions her to beware of the consequences. Nikolas will want to know how Laura got the information.

Nikolas already hates Helena and this will only make him hate her more. Katherine can't believe that Laura actually believes that Helena couldn't forge the documents. Helena wants Laura to show the documents to Nikolas. It is Helena's last revenge against her. When Nikolas realizes that Laura is wrong, she will lose him forever, just like she lost Lucky. Laura tells Katherine that she is making a big mistake threatening her. Katherine tells her that it is just a reality check. Katherine assures Laura that Nikolas is going to be her husband and no forgery from Helena is going to prevent that. If Laura plans to see more of Nikolas in the future, she better get an attitude adjustment. She dismisses Laura by asking her if she has a ceremony to prepare for.

Later that evening, Katherine is standing on the parapet dreaming aloud about becoming Mrs. Nikolas Cassadine. She senses someone else and turns. She screams in fright as the person (we can only see black gloves and what looked like a flash of long blonde hair) grabs Katherine and throws her over the railing.

Events unfold after Katherine's fall. Mrs. Lansberry tells Stefan she saw a blonde woman on the parapet before she saw Katherine fall. Stefan tells her not to tell anyone else that. He runs upstairs to find Laura, swearing that yes they did argue, but she was on her way downstairs when she heard the scream. Back downstairs, Nik is freaking out, and he notes that the railing isn't broken, so Kat MUST have been pushed. Nik calls 911. Laura tells Stefan everything about the medical report. He is not pleased that she didn't tell him sooner, but it becomes clear that he believes her on all points. Tagert shows up to begin investigating.

At Wyndemere, Laura told a grief-stricken Nikolas that there was no way that Katherine could have been pregnant. Nikolas lashed out at her, condemning her for being an agent of Helena's lies. Nikolas and Stefan both suspected that it had been Laura who had pushed Katherine off the parapet.

Taggert continued his assertion that Katherine's fall was murder, not accidental. Stefan told Laura that he would be telling the police that he and Katherine had been arguing and when he pushed her away from him after she lunged at him, she fell off the parapet. Overhearing this, Helena smirked and called her son a 'lovesick fool'.

Luke caught Faison trying to break into his safe and the two bantered back and forth for a while. Faison once again warned Luke to return the diamonds or else. After Faison left, Mac questioned Luke about his connection to Faison and Luke quickly covered. Luke was surprised at the degree of hatred Mac has for Faison.

Felicia seems kind of worried that Luke might have told Mac something so she goes over to ask Luke. She asks Luke if he said anything and he says no, and points out her truth problem. She wants to tell Mac the truth, but doesn't want to hurt him. Luke tells her that kissing won't ever happen again and she sounds disappointed. She does say that she's committed to her marriage to Mac, but she feels alive on her adventures with Luke.

Luke told Felicia that he had stashed the diamonds on Helena's yacht. Luke came up with disguises and they managed to talk their way onto the yacht. Later, they found Ari, Helena's Man Friday, murdered.

Felicia talked to Luke about being afraid Faison would try and frame them for Ari's murder on Helena's yacht. She also said she is afraid he will tell Mac about seeing them in Texas. She told Luke about not being able to sleep at night because of all the lies she has told Mac.

Tony visited Luke and thanked him for putting in a good word for him with Bobbie. He told Luke that Bobbie had agreed to let him watch Lucas while she was honeymooning with Jerry. There conversation turned to the subject of marriage and a cynical Luke asked Tony to him one example of matrimonial bliss. Ironically, Tony immediately said, "Mac and Felicia" and assured Luke that their marriage was unshakable.

Laura fretted to Stefan about what would happen when Mac questioned him. Stefan reassured her that she had to trust him completely. He flashed back on hearing Mrs. Landsbury saying that she heard a scream, saw Katherine fall and then saw a blonde woman behind her. He them remembered seeing Laura leaning over the rail immediately after the fall.

Stefan went to the police station for questioning and bantered back and forth with Mac. Mac pressured Stefan for further information and finally revealed that he had an eyewitness that could place Laura on the parapet with Katherine. Stefan countered that it was impossible because she had been in the library with him at the time of the fall. When Mac revealed that his witness was the caterer, Stefan said there was no way the caterer could have seen onto the parapet from where he was and that it was too dark for anyone to see who was there anyway. As Mac became more aggressive in his quest for information, Stefan informed him that he wanted to speak to his lawyer before they continued.

Laura went to see Luke to warn him that if Stefan was prosecuted, that she could again be asked to testify and that more details of their marriage could be revealed. Her attempt at helping Luke backfired and they ended up arguing. Laura wondered aloud how they got from finishing each other's sentences to not being able to communicate. Felicia interrupted their argument and Laura left.

Felicia gave Luke Taggert's mother's hangover remedy and rubbed his temples for him as they wondered when someone would ever find Ari. Stefan's lawyer arrived and despite his objections, Stefan confessed to pushing Katherine just as Laura walked in and overheard.

The nurse is checking out Helena. She leaves and Helena gets up and uses the phone to check on Stefan. She gets ups and leaves the room. She has the perfect outfit for Stefan's sentencing. She hears a noise and gets back in bed quickly, Faison comes in to see her. He tells her that he is going to have to deal with Luke but not to worry cause they still have his son. He fixes her bed, kisses her on the forehead and tells her he will see her soon. After he leaves Helena says that he annoys her and she does not need people that annoy her.

Stefan confesses to Katherine and Laura comes in and says he is lying. Mac asks Laura what really happened. She says the two of them were in the study. But Stefan would not stop; he gives Mac a complete statement that he pushed Katherine. Mac tells him it is a nice story but none of the evidence backs him up. Mac tells them if they are going to lie to him at least get their stories straight. Stefan says again how he killed Katherine; just then Nikolas comes in, looks at his father and says you killed her. Nikolas says that Katherine and his father argued before, she enraged him. Mac says he will have to book Stefan but he wants to talk to Laura first. Stefan sends the lawyer away and Nikolas asks if he pushed Katherine? Stefan says yes. Nik accuses him of murder.  He says he didn't mean to hurt him. Nikolas tells him not to worry he will support him. Stefan promises, “You are my son, I would do anything to protect you."

Mac tells Laura that she is holding out on him and now is not the time. She changed after the first fall. She was faking a pregnancy. Mac gets a file and they go back inside to talk to Stefan. Mac tells them that Aurie is dead. Laura tells them that he is the one that dropped off Katherine's medical records to her. No one has anything else to say. Taggert comes in and arrests Stefan for Katherine's murder.

Mac spoke to Stefan and tried to get him to withdraw his plea and give up Laura. He said he knew Laura had done it because the caterer had seen a blonde woman on the parapet with Katherine and that since Laura has a history of blacking out during moments of intense emotion, she could probably get off with a light sentence. Stefan stonewalled and said he wanted his attorney with him before he said any more. Mac then said, "Fine, send Ms. Davis in." Mac left them alone and Alexis told him that if he didn't let her help him, he'd be going to jail for a long, long time. Stefan reminded her that the last time they spoke, she told him she loathed him and never wanted to speak to him again. Why should he place his fate in her hands? She encouraged him to use her guilt to his advantage because that's what Cassadines do, use each other. He admitted that he couldn't argue with that and she went off to arrange his bail, leaving him alone in Mac’s office. He called Mrs. Lansbury, told her he'd be coming home and asked her to check on Helena and make sure all was as he had left it.

Luke and Bobbie are in his office at the blues club. He talks to Claude on the phone and tells him to pick up the coffee himself. Luke jokes with Bobbie about calling off her wedding to Jerry. She measures him for a tuxedo. Bobbie leaves. When Felicia arrives, she is frazzled. She asks Luke to remain calm and tells him that Faison is stalking her again. Faison hasn't threatened her nor has he asked about the diamonds, but he does scare her. He probably wants her to run to Mac. Luke, with a smug grin on his face, points out that instead she came running to him. When Luke becomes emotional and wants to go after Faison, Felicia tries to calm him down. She just wanted to vent. She didn't want him to react heatedly. They hug and Luke seems to enjoy it.

In his office, Faison speaks to someone on the phone and asks how Lucky is doing? He looks at a photo of Lucky, calls him his most valuable asset, locks the picture in a drawer and locks the office as he leaves. Luke climbs through a window and breaks into the office. He tries to open the locked drawers.

Luke rummages through the drawers in search of something incriminating, but he is forced to make a hasty retreat when Faison returns. Luke listens from the hall as Faison takes a phone call from one of his henchmen regarding Lucky. Faison also discusses the situation regarding the whereabouts of the diamonds before proclaiming his hatred for the Spencers. He then pulls a photograph of Felicia from a drawer and stares at it intently as Luke slowly opens a door behind him. Luke grabs Faison by the throat and proceeds to choke him.

Faison bargained for his life as Luke choked him, saying that Luke needed him now more than ever. Luke said that wasn't good enough as Faison dropped to the floor unconscious.  Roy went to see Luke, but Luke was busy choking Faison at his office. After waiting for a while, Roy left. Felicia came in and questioned Claude about Luke's whereabouts and was waiting in his office when Luke returned. She gave him a big hug that lasted a bit long. She then told Luke that she didn't like being the go-between that Faison was using to hurt him and that if she had to choose between his life and their relationship that she would have to stop caring about him. Luke said it didn't work that way for him. Luke told Felicia how a part of him had died with Lucky, but that she had brought him back. He said he was trying to redefine his life and that she was a very big part of that and he can't just turn his feelings off. She told him she didn't want him to get hurt and he said that no one could hurt him but himself. Mac called on Felicia's cell phone and invited her out to dinner at Luke's. She resisted and suggested they go elsewhere, but he insisted and met her there.

Luke went to the safe and just as he was opening it, Faison showed up with a gun. You could tell Faison had had exactly enough of Luke because he was using that freaky John Malcovich voice that he talks in when he's really pissed off. Holding the gun on him, he ordered Luke to take him to the diamonds. As they were walking out the back alley of the club, Luke in front, Luke heard Faison fall and turned to see Roy standing over his body, having beaned Faison and knocked him out. Luke's eyes widened and in true Luke fashion, he said, "What took you so long?"

Roy knocks out Faison. Luke turns around and see Roy, he says how can you be here, you have been dead for twenty years. He tells Luke everything to convince him that it is really him. Luke is finally convinced and they hug. He asks about Faison. Roy says we got to get him outta here, and Luke says what do you mean we? Roy tells him where he was for the last twenty years. Just like old times says Luke.

Luke and Roy are in the car, Luke ask if Roy hears someone kicking to get out of the trunk. They talk about old times. Luke tells him that if he did the job things would have been different, he would not of missed. Luke says he was the one that finally shot Frank Smith. Roy asks where they are going and Luke says he is in a mood for a hanging. They are at lookout point still talking about old times. Roy comments that he forgot you can actually smell trees. Luke welcomes him home. Luke opens the trunk and we see Faison still passed out, he offers Roy a beer. They are deciding what to do with Faison and Roy ask him who is this guy. Roy says if he was really going to kill him he would have to leave. They decide to just dump him and Luke gives Roy Faison's wallet and shoes. Roy tells him that he has always wanted to drive a caddy and Luke says this is your lucky night, home James.

Nikolas comes to see his father. He does not believe that Stefan killed Katherine. He asks when Laura told him that Katherine was not pregnant. "You are lying to protect my mother. You will do anything to protect Laura." Laura comes in to find the two of them arguing. She tells him not to blame his father, that he loves him. Laura is goes on about how Stefan protects people. Nikolas agrees that he does protect everyone he loves. He wants to go, tells Stefan that he has to go home, he can't stay there. Afterwards, Stefan tells Laura he has no intention of losing his son or her.

Laura asks Mac why she has to go in and make another statement, she has told them everything she knows. She is told that her story and Sefan's story does not match. Mac tells Laura that he is trying to have a night out with his wife. Laura says "really, I would hate to disrupt that." She sits down with them and gives Mac a hard time, then she leaves.

At the club, Luke brags to Roy that he only has blues in his club. Roy asks what kind of blues is that (referring to the band playing)?  Luke goes out to see what is going on when he hears a country girl band “She Daisy” playing. Roy tells him it is a shame not to even meet them. They are so beautiful, and the crowd does seem to dig them. Emily brings over the girls and introduces them. They said they were with BB King and they win Luke over. Luke introduces them again and we hear another song.

Bobbie bursts into Luke's office to tell him that Roy is alive but doesn’t see Roy standing directly behind her in the office. Roy told Luke and Bobbie that he was working in the coffee warehouse and they told him Sonny is mob and that Roy should tell Sonny about his past and testifying against Frank Smith before Sonny finds out from someone else. He left to speak with Sonny, who told him that all that mattered to him in an employee was showing up on time and loyalty. Back at the office, Luke said, "Jerry who?" But Bobbie insisted that Roy is part of her past and she is going through with her wedding plans. She accused Luke of trying to win her for Roy to make up for the 20 years he served in prison for Luke.

Nikolas asked Laura and Stefan if he had done the right thing by burying Katherine at Serenity and they assured him she would have been pleased. The three then briefly discussed the memorial service we didn't see so that we would know that there was one. Nikolas then snidely remarked that his mother and father didn't know how to handle themselves when a woman that they hated was dead. He said that they couldn't even be honest with each other about it. After he stormed out, Stefan assured Laura that Nikolas was only speaking out of grief and confusion.

Laura wondered aloud what he meant by the remark he made, then slowly realized that Stefan thought she had killed Katherine. She adamantly insisted she was innocent. Stefan suggested that perhaps Helena was not as immobile as they thought. All the while, Helena listened in on their conversation.

Roy and Laura ran into each other at Kelly's and she apologized for throwing Luke's keys out of the car window 20 years ago, causing Luke to miss the hit that Roy did in his place, sending Roy to jail.

Bobbie talked to Felicia about Roy's return. Luke joined them and told Felicia all the details of their connection to Roy. After Bobbie left, Luke speculated that twenty years could really change a person and he wasn't sure how it had changed Roy, but to him, it felt the same as it had before. He told her that Roy felt like his brother. Roy popped into the office long enough to be introduced to Felicia and tell Luke he had spoken to Sonny. After he left, Luke filled Felicia in on what had transpired with Faison. Felicia was a bit peeved that it had all happened while she was in the club and she had not known. The conversation drifted to their relationship and they were just about to do some heavy talking when Faison interrupted, having a real attitude about being dumped.

Roy and Laura talked at Kelly's and she told him she had always felt she had caused his death by throwing Luke's keys out of the car. He reassured her he didn't feel that way at all. She was hurt when she learned that Luke had not told him that they had married and had children. She told him how much he would have liked Lucky, that he was a lot like Luke.

Faison confronts Luke and Felicia. She takes credit for the lead pipe in Faison's recent de-shoeing and being thrown off of a cliff by Roy and Luke. He is not amused, he wants the diamonds back. Luke and Felicia continue to discuss Faison and end up in a deep kiss. Felicia freaks out, she loves Mac with all of her heart, but enjoys Luke too. She thinks she should stay away, but Luke tells her he would miss her. They cry and hug. Roy walks in on the hug, they jump apart looking awfully guilty. Felicia dashes off, leaving Roy behind smirking, "I haven't missed much."

Luke fills Roy in on the "Felicia situation" and comments that he should get points for style, her being the commissioner's wife. Luke tells of how he fell in love with her (the night she got Lucy's shoe back) and how she helped him through the time right after Lucky "died", giving him a reason to get up in the morning. Stefan and Laura set their little plan in motion to catch Helena. Stefan tells her that in the event that he goes to prison he's signing her over to Laura's care. Helena sits up after they leave and wonders if he is suspicious but says it doesn't matter in the end anyway. Faison comes to see her and tells her that if she doesn't mess with him he won't mess with her.

Stefan and Laura told Nikolas that they suspected Helena was responsible for Katherine's death, but said they needed to get proof that Helena had recovered from her paralysis. Stefan later put a plan into motion to prove that Helena's condition was improving.

Stefan tried to get Helena to flinch by burning her fingers with a candle. She didn't react and Laura begged him to stop. Outside the room, Laura confided to him that she thought Helena might really be paralyzed. He believes Helena killed Katherine and he wants Stefan or Laura convicted of it. Laura countered that not only were some wigs made of human hair, but that the hair could have been there for years. Alexis showed up and Stefan gave her a hard time for not being on the ball, if she took much longer she could have attended his sentencing. He tells her he only confessed to buy him time to figure out who murdered Katherine and his believes that Helena killed her.

Alexis was relieved that Stefan was finally admitting that he didn't kill Katherine.  Alexis cautions him that he needs irrefutable proof. He went through the secret passage and found a hank of blonde hair that he thought was from the wig that someone had worn when Katherine was pushed.

Roy came upon Luke who was in the club alone doing his books (rather unsuccessfully). Roy took over the books while Luke went to check on a delivery.  Roy wants the story on Mac before going for his appointment with Mac who has requested to see him. Felicia showed up as they were talking and Luke asked her if she had told Mac about their encounter with Faison. She swore she hadn't and started telling Roy how great of a guy Mac was.

Luke teases the mixed marrieds about how early they are having dinner. They return the teasing by taking bets on whether or not Luke will drop the two large boxed he is carrying. Just as Luke is about to drop everything, Roy arrives with a helping hand. Roy asks Luke to cash his paycheck and Luke readily agrees, but is shocked at how little Roy is earning at the coffee warehouse. Roy agrees that it is a small wage and asks Luke to put in a good word for him with Sonny. Luke says he would do anything for Roy, except that.

Luke explains to Roy that Sonny is being watched by the FBI and now isn't a good time to get involved. Roy understands and lets the matter drop. Luke changes the subject by teasing Roy about wearing after shave. Roy just smiles and leaves without saying a word.

Bobbie arrives at Luke's for her dinner with Jerry. Luke teases her by telling her that she just missed Roy. Bobbie is not amused. She tells Luke that maybe the subject of Roy should be off limits to them. Luke says that all he did was mention Roy's name. Bobbie says that he did it to try and get a rise out of her and it isn't going to work. Luke holds up his hands in mock surrender and apologizes to Bobbie. Bobbie tells Luke that she hasn't forgotten what Roy was her first love and she was his first love, but they aren't the same thing to each other any more. She goes off on a mini rant about how people change over the course of twenty years and just because she and Roy dated in high school there is no reason why things should be awkward between them now and there is no reason why anyone should have to apologize for growing up. Luke agrees but tells her that she should be telling Roy.

Luke points to Roy who has arrived without Bobbie noticing and has heard most of what she has said. Roy tells Bobbie that he didn't know she was going to be there or he wouldn't have come back. Bobbie says that she didn't know that she was going to be there either. Bobbie asks Luke to give them some privacy.
