'W-w-what?' Carly stammered, 'My husband was in the other car?'

'Yes, I'm sorry Carly' said Dr. Q.

'I have to go see him' Carly said.

'I'm sorry Carly,' Dr. Q. said, 'But Sonny can't have any visitors at this point in time'

'My husband was just in a car accident' stated Carly, her eyes blazing, 'There is no way in hell you are going to keep me away from him. I will break down that door, if that's what it takes for me to get to him!'

Dr. Q. paused in thought for a moment, then said, 'Alright, Carly, you can go see him. You guys can go see Nik too, but only two at a time.'

They all thanked Dr. Q. then Gia suggested that her and Lucky should go in first. Liz was reluctant, considering that Gia and Lucky kissing was the whole reason all this was happening. But after a while, Liz finally agreed, and Gia and Lucky walked into Nik's hospital room.

'Hey sweetie' Gia cooed, as she kissed Nik on the forehead, She knew that he wasn't waking up, but she had to keep talking to him, she couldn't give up hope.

Lucky gently pulled Gia to the corner of the room.

'Gia, I have to explain what happened, why I kissed you.' Lucky said.

'Yeah,' Gia agreed, 'You have alot of explaining to do.'

Just then Nik's eye's fluttered open, but neither Gia nor Lucky saw him.

'Well, ok Gia, you see for the past few months, I have had a huge crush on you. Everything about you amazes me. And I'm getting married to Liz, I know that, but I just had to kiss you, to see if there were any sparks' Lucky explained.

'And?'

'Oh, there were sparks!' said Lucky, with a grin.

'I'm sorry Lucky, but I didn't feel any sparks'  Gia said, 'Lucky, I love Nikolas. I've never told him that because I was scared....no terrified, that he wouldn't feel the same way. But I love him with every inch of my being. He is everything to me. He is the air i breathe, and I can't live without him. I'm sorry'

'I see....' said Lucky.

'G-Gia.........'

They heard a faint whisper coming from Nik's bed.

'Nikolas?' said Gia, grabbing his hand and stroking his forehead. 'Nikolas, baby, are you okay?'

'Gia, did you mean it?' Nik asked.

'Did I mean what sweetie?' asked Gia, not sure what Nik was talking about.

'Do you really love me?'

'I think I better leave' said Lucky as he left the room, closing the door behind him.

'Yes Nik, I do love you. More than anything' Gia said.

'You don't know how happy I am to hear that' said Nik, smiling up at her, 'because I love you too'

Gia giggled happily, as her eyes misted over as she leaned in for a kiss. The two shared the most earth-shattering kiss. They melted into one person, and Gia felt as if she could collapse at any moment. She never wanted to let go.

When the two finally separated Gia said to Nik, 'I don't ever want to come that close to losing you again. I want us to be together forever. Nik, can I ask you something?'

'Of course Gia'

Gia took a deep breath and asked the question that would change both of their lives forever, 'Nikolas, will you marry me?'
