Nikolas slowly poked his head through the hospital room door, and swung his left leg out in front of him, then his right, in a marching motion. "I feel like an idiot." he groaned.

"Oh, honey, the hospital gown looks good on you" Gia cooed. "Oh Nikolas, I've been waiting for this ultrasound for so long. I couldn't bear it when we had to put it off, when Little Lizzie poisoned me. And by the way, I fully intend on kicking her cute little waitress-two-timing butt, once this child is born."

"I know baby," Nik said, "And I fully intend on watching!"

Gia laughed and took his hand when she saw Dr. Q. waltz through the door.

"Hello Gia...Nikolas. Are you all ready?" Dr. Q. asked with a smile.

"Yes" They replied in unison.

"Okay then, lets get started!" Dr. Q. said, as she began the ultrasound.

Once she had everything setup and ready, Nikolas couldn't do anything but stare into the screen of the monitor. He was in a daze as Dr. Q. pointed out what everything was, and how healthy the baby was.

"Hold on a second...." Dr. Q. said, pausing.

"What is it?' Nik asked, snapping out of his daze.

"I think....." she began, "Oh, look at them!" she cried.

"Them?!" Gia asked.

"Yes." Dr. Q. replied. "I don't know how I missed it before, I've never done that before, but yes, them. You are having twin boys."

Gia faced Nik, as tears poured down her face. She was surprised to see that there was an equal amount of tears on his cheeks. She had never met a man so kind, so loving, so caring. She never thought she would meet a man who could cry at something so beautiful. All of the guys she'd ever met had always tried to act like a 'man'. But Nik wasn't afraid to show his emotions. That was one of the many things she loved about him.

He squeezed her hand as he cried, overwhelmed by the effect these babies had on him. They were his children, and he couldn't begin to describe how that made him feel.

Gia and Nik both stared into the screen, amazed at what was growing inside of Gia. They held each other close, and Gia couldn't help but wonder if the two boys inside of her were holding each other as well......

~*The Docks*~

"Madam?" Andreas said, turning off the cell phone he had just been speaking into. "I just spoke with a nurse at the hospital. Gia is having twin boys."

"Oh..." Helena said "I wasn't expecting to have to take out TWO children. Oh well, it has to happen. Gia is unsuitable for my Nikolas. There is no way I will have a child around as a reminder of her. Nik will have nothing left to remind him of her once I kill her."

"Yes Madam" Andreas said, looking at her with a smile pasted on his boy-toy face.

"Andreas, this has to happen tonight. When Nikolas and Gia return from the hospital." Helena instructed. "As I told you before, make sure Nikolas is nowhere near the cottage. He cannot be physically harmed."

"Yes Madam" Andreas obeyed, and offered his arm to her as they walked off the docks.
