'Are you sure, Car?' Gia questioned, looking at the braids piled on top of her head.

'Yes Gia, for the 7th time, your hair looks wonderful!' Carly exclaimed, getting slightly annoyed at Gia persistent worrying.

'I'm sorry Carly, but i want everything to be perfect for my wedding day' Gia whined, taking yet another look in the mirror.

'Gia, i understand. Now come here and let me fix your lipstick before you go put on your dress' Carly offered, smearing a red-purple shade over her lips, then handing her a tissue to blot the color.

'I don't know where i would be without you Carly' Gia said.

'Neither do i sweetie' Carly laughed 'Now go put on that stunning dress of yours before the groom becomes too impatient and just leaves you before you even get to the altar'

Gia stopped in her tracks, 'Don't even joke about that!!"

~10 minutes later~

'Come on Gia!' Carly yelled impatiently 'You know I can't sit still in one spot for too long, you're driving me insane!'

Gia stepped in the doorway, and surprisingly, Carly immediately became speechless.

'Wow' Carly cooed.

Gia was covered in white silk and satin. She had a white silky veil draped behind her head, the front covered with small diamonds and pearls. Her long delicate arms were covered with shiny white satin which flared out at her wrists. Her neckline flattered her chest and was bordered with glittering stones. Her long dress fitted her waist nicely and flowed down her legs where it met her ankles, which were dressed just as glamourous as the rest of her.

'So, what do you think?' Gia asked.

Carly dashed over to Gia and wrapped her in a hug. 'Gia! You look amazing!'

'Thanks Carly'

'Ok, put on your jewelry, and I'll go make sure they're left already. Can't let your groom see you in your dress before the ceremony' Carly squealed as she ran out the bedroom door and down the stairs.

Gia stood alone in her room, her heart fluttering with excitement as she anxiously tugged on a long, dark braid which had escaped from her updo. She took a deep breath and started to practice saying the two words that would change her life, and make her the happiest woman in the world, 'I do...I do....I do'

'Are you ready sir?'

'Yes' he answered 'Get the limo ready, we can't be too late'

'Yes sir' the young servant answered as he left the room.

'It won't be long now' he whispered 'It won't be long until we're reunited again'
