Nik and Gia stood in the park near the swing, just looking at each other, when they both burst out laughing.

'Did you see her face?' Gia exclaimed.

'Oh my god, that was so much fun!!!!' Nik cried.

They had just told off Elizabeth, and they were both feeling full of energy.

'Lets go out for dinner' Nik suggested. 'We've got to get some food into you. Gotta feed that little one.' Nik said as he gently rubbed her stomach.

'Sounds good to me.' Gia agreed. 'And just to have you know, I don't think you'll need to worry about getting food into me. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be sending you out in the dark hours of the night to get me strange and exotic foods.'

'Oh, I can't wait' Nik said sarcastically. He took her hand in his as they walked through the park, and towards the Jag. Nik opened the door, and Gia got in. As they were driving the topic of names and gender came up.

'Do you think we should find out what it is, or have it a surprise?' Gia asked.

'Well, I think we should find out' Nik said 'I mean, I don't want to be referring to our baby as 'it''

'Yeah, I agree' Gia nodded. 'Okay, if it's a boy, what should we name it?'

'Um, Josh.' Nik said.

'Josh.....I like that.' Gia approved.

'And a girl?' Nik asked.

'Hmmm, I really don't know.' Gia said looking at Nikolas as he drove.

Nikolas scrunched his face in thought, but came up with nothing. 'I don't know either. We'll find out what it is first, before we worry about names.'

'Alright' Gia said, as she reached over and stroked his cheek with her finger. 'Can you believe it? We're married, and we're having a baby....this is everything I've ever dreamed of.'

'I know.' Nik replied. 'I know we got off to a rocky start when we first met, having you blackmailing Emily, but look at what we've become. It's amazing. I never thought I could love somebody the way I love you. But I do.'

Gia smiled at him as she moved her finger from his cheek up to his dark hair.

'Well' Nik said, grabbing Gia's hand and kissing it gently, 'We're here. Ready to stuff yourself?'

'You betcha!' Gia said as she got out of the car.

Their fingers intertwined as they walked towards the doors of the Port Charles Grille. Nikolas was behind her and as she turned around to look at him, she bumped into someone, nearly knocking herself over. Nik rushed to her side and wrapped himself around her until she was steady.

'Now dear, you really need to watch where you're going' said a voice Nik and Gia both knew all too well. Helena.

'What do you want grandmother?' Nik demanded.

'Well, is it such a crime to want to spend time with my grandson and new granddaughter?' Helena asked.

'Granddaughter?' Gia asked laughing 'Like I will ever consider myself your granddaughter. I am Nikolas' wife. I have absolutely no blood-relation to you, and that's how it'll always be.'

'Dear, might I ask why you're glowing?' Helena said, staring at Gia.

Gia looked up at Nikolas. 'Why prolong the inevitable.' Nik said. 'Grandmother, we're having a baby.'

Helena nearly lost her balance, but unlike with Gia, Nik didn't move a muscle. 'Oh' Helena, stumbled  'How wonderful'

Nik pushed past Helena, and carefully led Gia through the doors. Once Gia and Nik were both inside, Helena turned to speak to Andreas.

'Andreas, this birth can't happen. It just can't.' she said to him.

'What do you suggest we do Madam?' Andreas asked.

'I don't know. I just don't know.' Helena said, in deep thought. 'Oh well, we have 9 months to figure something out. For now I think I need a massage. Lets go Andreas.'
