The Pirate series is another one of my favorite series that Mego produced. They had great heads and colorful outfits; plus lots of cool (and tough to find) accessories. Captain Patch is the most common, but is almost always missing his rifle (which is unique to this figure and NOT the same as the rifle used in the western series). Blackbeard is also relatively easy to find, but his Sword is nearly impossible to come by and usually sells for more than the rest of the figure with his outfit and all of his other accessories. Long John Silver is a bit more difficult to find and is usually missing most of his accessories. Jean Lafitte is the most difficult of the four to acquire and usually sells for quite a bit in any condition although his two pistols are easier to find than Blackbeard's sword or Captain Patch's rifle.
