Scene 22 - The Death of RobL
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scene starts outside. Its night but daybreak is just over the horizon. APC landing pads are everywhere. We see several Troll Terminators boarding APCs. Camera pans left. We see an up close view of the base of Trekk Towers. Camera pans up. Camera view climbs. Camera view keeps climbing for what seems forever. We pass dozens on top of dozens of different levels. Finally we come to nearly the top. Camera pans in.
Camera zooms in on what appears to be a large balcony. Half the room is open to the night. Camera pans in and we can see a set of staircase in the far corner of the room. Red Whacker is dragging a badly wounded RobL up the stairs and into the room. Whacker collapses from exhaustion and RobL falls to the ground without his support.

Red: "Damn….it….Rob……you…..have to get….up…I can’t carry you any further."
RobL is only half-conscious and is only vaguely aware of his surroundings.
RobL: "Che is that you? I’m sorry…I didn’t mean…"
Red: "Rob! Stay with me! Che’s not here. It me, Red."
RobL: "Red...of course...Red. Where are we Red?"
Red: "We in the towers, Rob. Still in the damn Towers..."
RobL: "Towers? We are the others Red? Where’s Sardy and Che?"
Whacker gives up on trying to pull RobL off the ground. Red falls down beside RobL. DAYLIGHT has just broken over the horizon.
Red: "I don’t know Rob….Probably dead. We’re alone..."
RobL: "Red, Have you…seen….things?"
Red: "What are you talking about?"
RobL: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain....Time to die."
Red: "Rob?"
Whacker rolls over to see RobL’s empty eyes staring up at the ceiling. He is dead.
Whacker closes his friend’s eyelids and then manages to drag himself to his feet.
He is truly alone now.
Picking up his rifle he continues his journey to the top of the tower...
