Background:
Anita Swift was born to Herana Swift by her lover outside of her marriage to William Swift, Belen Rill. She grew up in the care of her mother with her half-brother, Alexander Swift. The family had a very lighthearted feel to it, and she, like her brother, grew up with stories of Starfleet. Although she was not as much of a dedicated star student as Alexander, but she, too, came to find a place in Starfleet Academy. After her graduation, she spent some uneventful years on the USS Aurora. When the Federation Civil War broke out, she was selected for loyalty to the Federation in several bickerings among the Aurora crew to serve in the STF. She was given special needs orders that overrode typical protocol dealing with family and chain of command, which put her directly under Alex's command.

Personality Profile:
Anita is a very easy-going individual, often reputed to telepathically pick on her brother on duty. In Betazoid tradition, she is very forthright and pacifistic, and enjoys learning for learning's sake. Her slight lack of focus has made her a sort of jack-of-all-trades, but her ability to quickly pick up on procedure has kept her from being a master of none. Mental profile suggests proficiency in a very versatile position.
