" "
Make the body part die.
Place the body parts on the table and give each child a game
board. Have the children take turns rolling the die. Whatever
picture the die lands on is the body part they take. As
they place it on their game board, have them name a way they can
glorify God with that body part. For example, if the child
rolls an ear. He would place an ear on his board and say,
"I can listen to God's word."

VI. Lesson Focus
The focus of today's lesson is to
reinforce that God created our hearts and we should make sure
Jesus is always first in our hearts. Here are two activities to help
reinforce this. Choose the one that best fits your class of
children. If time permits, you may choose to do both.
"Cathy's Heart Game" Lay the heart pieces picture side
down on the table. Give each child a game board. Tell the
children that the only thing that should be in Cathy's heart is
Jesus. The same is true for us. It is OK to like
other things, but they should not come before going to church or
Bible class. Have the children take turns picking a heart
from the stack. If it is something other than Jesus or the
Bible, it goes on the outside hearts. If it is Jesus or
the Bible, it goes on Cathy's heart. (Click here for patterns for the game.) "Cathy Cat Book Page"
The children will make their Cathy
Cat page to add to their books.
