VI. Lesson Focus
The focus of today's lesson is to
reinforce that God created our hands and we should use them to
glorify God. Here are two activities to help
reinforce this. Choose the one that best fits your class of
children. If time permits, you may choose to do both.
"Feed Maggie Monkey"
Tell the children that we are
going to feed Maggie some bananas. Some of the bananas are
good for Maggie, but some of the bananas are not. Maggie can
only have the bananas that have pictures of people doing kind
things. We will leave the other bananas on the
ground. Have each child take turns picking a banana from
the tree. Discuss the picture on the it. If it is a
kind action, give the banana to Maggie. If not, place it
on the ground under the tree.
(Click here for patterns for the game.)
"Maggie Monkey Book
Page"
The children will make their
Maggie Monkey page to add to their books.
