Hello and welcome to the 278th 'Thoughts on Paper' section of the web site. Here you will find original compositions; poetry, prose and written word from and/or for our 278th soldiers and family members.

The pieces you are about to read span the length of time from the 278th ACR receiving their "alert" notification, the mobilization, the de-mobilization and the re-unions of our soldiers and their families - dating from February 2004 through October 2005 and beyond. As you will see, we have some very talented literary artists and the emotions expressed by the writers tell the tale of the year long mobilization to Iraq. Those writings submitted are copyright to the writer and are identified as such. Please do not remove from this web site without written permission.
