I am hesitant to suggest any dream interpretation guide because dreams are such a unique message medium. What has meaning for one person may have a very different contextual truth for someone else. I encourage you to journal and to ask for guidance before going to sleep, to learn more about the special way your dreamscape presents it's deep wisdom and not to depend on any guide written by another.
However, at various times in my own exploration, it's been helpful to have somewhere to start and some suggestions about what symbols and archetypes "could" mean. I haven't listened to this cd because I have already developed my own style of dream interpretation that fits my life and the way my dreamtime communicates with me. However, I did read "Women Who Run With the Wolves" a long time ago. Clarissa Pinkola Estes is a Jungian analyst so I'd expect some psych-speak in this. She is also a master storyteller, and cantadora (keeper of the stories) in the Latina tradition. Her writings are internationally known and her teachings widely embraced, as they have to do with the Wild Woman archetype, in particular but also in areas of women's psychology, working with your dreams in a medicine way and utilizing the power of myth as a woman.
The beginner's guide is an unabridged audiobook and covers themes and symbols from dreams, as well as common misconceptions about interpreting dreams. One of the reviewers mentions that Ms. Estes suggests keeping a pen and pencil by the bed, which is advice I also give anyone who is wanting to remember their dreams. Remembering is the first step and you can train yourself to remember.
