Inca Trail (KM 82 – Phuyupatamarca)

May 2003: We began our four-day journey late on a Monday after meeting our guide, Patty, and fellow hikers, Amy, Brad, & Charlotte. Hopefully we were prepared. Once the trail turned the corner and crossed the Urubamba the true beauty exposed itself. For the next four days we suffered from sensory overload. Pics 1-3 & 9 are of flowers along the path that I have yet to find names (so if you know learn me). All the pics are along the Inca Trail from day 2-4 prior to arriving at Machu Picchu.
