Cusco & Sacsaywaman

May 2003: So I ask myself, “Self why the hell you heading to Peru?” That was the mood as I boarded the plane in Las Angeles & everything was already in Spanish. After a brief stop in Lima, the capital city of Peru, we landed in Cusco, the one time Incan capital, and I realized why it is I wanted to come. So began our journey… The first 2 pics of Cusco were taken prior to the big hike during the day of acclimatization. Pics 3-10 were taken in and around Sacsaywaman, north (and above) the city of Cusco after the big hike.
