Inca Trail (Day 4 to Intipunku)

May 2003: Day four promised to be full: long hike (mostly downhill), little warmer & muggier (outskirts of the jungle), and many sights to see. We tried for an early start, but settled for a comfortable one. The hike began down “The 3,000 Steps” (didn’t count but I’ll take their word for it) and would finish at our destination…Machu Picchu! We took our time to take in the other wonderful sights along the way.
