Data
Security
In today’s world, security is always of primary concern.
With BROKERit, complete data security is under your
control. BROKERit allows you to determine security
level for each individual departmental user. For example:
The accounting department may have complete access
to financial records but marketing can be denied access
for the same data. BROKERit even gives you the option
to black-out sensitive data on a field level (e.g.,
credit card information, social security numbers,
etc), while allowing full access to the rest of the
document image. Security levels can be modified as
needed by the Administrator.
Queries
Queries allow you to retrieve information based
on specific parameters (i.e. customer name, invoice
number, date, etc.). By using queries you eliminate
wasted time by only recalling the information you
need without having to plow through everything.
For example, you can access a customer’s entire
purchase order history – not only electronic images,
like letters and spreadsheets, but complete document
images, like actual purchase order forms. Or if
you need to look at POs for a specific customer
in a general date range. Rather than look at all
documents in your file, BROKERit allows you to search
for and retrieve only the documents that meet your
specified needs.
Anyone who routinely deals with forms is freed from
being tied to the office, while still retaining
the ability to review every document associated
with a specific project by accessing images over
the Internet. Simultaneous queries, by different
users, of the same data are also possible, ending

reach without the need for physical presence, allowing

Scanning

you can scan any document directly into BROKERit.

Administrative
Functions
BROKERit’s Administrator is responsible for setting
up the system initially. BROKERit can even be set
up like an electronic version of your filing cabinets,
with departments, folders and sub-folders. The Administrator
customizes the application folders to any specific
search criteria and sets up security for each individual
user. Any changes to security status must come through
the Administration Module.
BROKERit Administration Module includes Wizards
to offer step-by-step instruction on setting up
applications, folders and document tables.
BROKERit is fully compatible with all standard ODBC
databases and can easily be used in conjunction
with AnyDoc Software’s own OCR for AnyDoc™.
