I Will Not Let Go

You’re my friend
Is there anything less that you could be?
The feelings I have inside of me
I cry out, to let you know
I could never let go, no
I will not let go

You have inspired me,
To be what I am now
I hope that you see this
You may not know that you are special
So special to me

I may never fully understand
The feelings you may have
And I hope that you
Realize I will not let you go
I could never let go, no
I will not let go

Countless numbers of sleepless nights
Crying, worrying about you
Trying to understand
I will always be here for you
I will never let you go
You are in my heart
Forever in my heart
I could never let go, no
I will not let you go

One More Way

I can see the pain in your eyes
Knowing how many times you have cried

I wish there was a way
That I could take your place someday
To take away your pain
And give you hope

The feelings I have,
They seem all wrong
You see, its Jesus you need
He is the only one
In Him is the power
To free you from the pain
He can take it away
I just wish there was
One More Way

You are hurting
This I can see
Praying to God,
that you would be set free
This is my prayer
That there could be,
Just One More Way

I wrote this at a time where I felt that all my friends were just there to be there. Kind of like when guys and girls date...just to say that they arent single. There is more than just being friends, it is about creating a relationship and finding a common ground to build upon. Right now I am having trouble with some of my friends and I have tried so hard. Feeling like giving up, but I am a better person than that. At least that is how I was brought up. Take a look at this that I wrote in August.

Friends are those who love you for who you are. They don’t criticize you for things you do wrong. Looking at your mistakes, yet they still find the good in them. They help you learn from their own mistakes. Friends will never get tired of your company and they encourage you to stick up for what you believe in. They care and understand when you have a problem that you can’t deal with on your own. They find the inner strength in you so they can show you that you can do anything that you want to. Friends find a way to cheer you up when you are feeling lonely. Showing you that it’s all right to be yourself, that’s why they’re your friend in the first place!!

Listening to your stories and giving you advice are their FAVORITE things to do. They don’t try to make you someone your not. They will always be there, just for YOU!!!!

Pushing you as hard as they can, because they want to see you succeed. As hard as you try to avoid them when you’re depressed, they keep coming back. And if they shall fall behind, they will ALWAYS make it up to you, no matter how hard it may be. So will you be my friend through the tough times I have? Will you keep me safe from the things that will harm me? Maybe remind me of the Lord Our God and what he as done for us. Could I call you at any time, when I feel depressed or lonely? I will try my very hardest to be a friend with you.
