That almost happened to me today on commodore 64.
Fortunately, Minnow rescued me from his vile
clutches.
Anyway, I agree with Xim. If he actually put some
thought into his posts and read the posts before him, he might
actually come off as a cool guy. He's gotten over his delete
message/post a letter routine, but he still tends to post crap like
"I'm tired but I want to increase my active messages so I'll keep
going." However, it doesn't seem like he's copying and pasting the
same message, unlike some users who are on a quest to post on every
board. Maybe he's just off to a (long) bad start.

Also, another thing I saw him say in between showing
off about how much he copies NickBush. He said he is a serious board
hunter like Nick, is Nick serious? I don't think so! What the hell
is a serious board hunter anyways? One that deliberately posts
blanks & emocions?
I admit when I first started hunting
in 3D0 and the Atari boards i used repetitive posts but I soon
stopped. Does he realise every other board hunter hates him! Even
NickBush, Luster Soldiers idol.

When I first board hunted with my old account I
was just posting emotions and stuff but I stopped after about 100
boards. I either make new topics on boards that Luster posts a topic
or ignore them.

Yeah, I remember when I first started hunting,
too. There are actually some of my original posts still around on
WonderSwan Color! I didn't use emoticons or other uninspired stuff,
but when I look at my posts, I wish I would have thought of
something more clever. And then I look at posts I made two days ago
and think the same thing.
It's good to know I've
matured.

I'll clear up a few things for you:
1. I
only double post in a topic when I am desperate to reach a certain
AMP goal before the purge arrives such as 15000, 16000 AMP, etc. I
normally don't like to double post and I rarely do it unless I have
a reason for doing it.
2. Even though I have stopped my
posting of single letters in a topic, it is hard to come up with a
good post because I board hunt on the basis of effiency (How fast I
can go through boards), not quality of my posts. Also, I am not that
good at coming up with good posts really quick.
3. Also, I
am not interested in getting ahead of Nick in AMP because he is
ahead of me by almost 9000 AMP. I am just trying to keep my AMP
above the user Yuffie Kisaragi who is slightly behind me in AMP
right now but that won't be the case after the next purge when I
lose over 200 AMP.
Of course my AMP will skyrocket far above
Yuffie's AMP during the days of December 23rd and January 2nd of
next year. During that time I will put a plan into effect that I
call "Crazy Posting Days". (I need a better name though) This plan
involves board hunting from December 23rd to January 2nd non-stop
without any sleep whatsoever. Some users think it would be
impossible for me to stay awake for that long but I have a way
around that. I'll buy about 13-14 bottles of Mountain Dew and drink
that stuff to help keep me awake. Mountain Dew has caffeine in it
which will help me awake for several days. The effects of the
caffeine are only temporary so I will have to keep drinking it to
stay awake. I'll be posting about 600-1000 messages each day. In the
end I will gain about 4000-5000 AMP from this plan. This plan shall
eliminate the need for any future plans to keep my AMP above
Yuffie's.

The only valid reasons for double
posting that I can think of are to bump a topic that nobody has
responded to, to correct an error in a previous post, or to post
something which is too big for one post. Reaching a certain AMP is
not an excuse to disrupt a topic.

Speed =/= efficiency. In order to be efficient,
you would have to be both fast and witty. Almost all board hunters
value wit and humour over speed. Sure, a hunter may finish commodore
64 in record time, but the poster behind them will still be going at
their own speed, and will have to put up with dull, repetitive
posts. You don't have to be a brilliant comedian, but please have a
little consideration for the guy behind you.

So you're actually making major changes to your
lifestyle just so you can make a little number on a video game
message board increase? You're not going to sleep, and probably shun
friends and relatives over the holidays so you can do this? And what
will you do once you're way ahead of Yuffie, go for Nick? And what
will you do once you get past Nick? Realize that you've wasted
countless hours just to annoy a lot of people?
On second
thought, I hear that going for ten days without sleep can cause a
person to have permanent and severe personality disorders. Go for
it.

Since someone mentioned the effects of caffeine I
have decided not to use any Mountain Dew in my plan. Also, Christmas
Day will be the only day where I won't be posting as many messages
as the other days in my plan. Starting January 3rd, I will cut down
my posting in Karma topics to once every 3 days instead of every
day. And lastly, I don't see how a small bunch of users can get so
worked up over something which is so minor. Let's just act like this
whole thing never happened and get back to normal discussion in this
topic. You're making this topic get to 500 faster than
normal.

Don't worry about it. I'm glad he marked
my message. Did he think I would really care? I don't really have
that clean a posting history to begin with, but the fact that he
would think getting modded would anger me only further supports my
theory that he is all I made him out to be: a materialistic little
fool. It reflects how such an action would make him angry, as Karma,
Active Messages Posted, Moderated Messages, and any other
superficial concept on GameFAQs determines a person's worth. At
least in his eyes.
Kaas: While that idea would work in
theory, he wouldn't be able to have more pages in his posted
messages history. That number also reflects an individual's worth.
Unlike actions. Who needs wit and charm when you have a higher post
count than everyone?

You're right. I can't
force you to do anything. I merely requested you leave my
board. From all the hours of your life you've wasted posting
uninteresting messages so you could brag about your active message
count, I thought that you might have absorbed at least one tiny

I'm sorry I misjudged you, my friend. I guess you really
don't read anything you come across. And I'm sorry as well if

something makes me really angry, I talk a whole lot more than just
one post about the subject, kind of like a rant. I'm pretty
well-known for my rants. In fact, I intended for this post to be
only one paragraph! See, in such a situation, as I am typing my
posts, I think of better things to say, and my post builds upon
itself. I know thinking of things to say and then posting may see to
be a foreign concept to you, but you should really give it a try
sometime. I know you can do it! Long, angry rants may be my forte,
but you can tell when I'm really pissed though, when I start
using satire in place of a diatribe.
Hm.. must be weird,
though. I can't imagine drifting to and from the secret boards
without ever acquiring any kind of knowledge. Well, even though I'd
rather not have you here, you're free to stay if you want. This is
probably the most attention you've ever received. I'm not sure if
that's really such a good reason to want to hang around here,
though. Remember, bad attention isn't the same as good, kid! (I
don't know if you're younger than me; I'm speaking in terms of
emotional maturity.) Well, have fun being efficient! See you at
recess! Maybe you can teach me how to be as popular as you are at
