Since this is a ranting topic of sorts,
here I go:
Okay, I was going through Atari 2600, and I kept
on running into this guy called Luster Solider who posts a message,
deletes it, and posts another message with a random letter in it.
This made me say to myself: "Hmm; why in the name of pudding is he
doing this?"
I tried to make sense of it all.
I tried
to put some of the letters together, but all I got was random
gibberish. Then later on I see him bragging "My active messages
posted > j00". I hope this isn't what GameFaqs is coming to,
posting messages, deleting them, and and posting again just to get
the highest AMP. A lot of users (including me) told him to quit it
before it got out of hand, but no dice. Oh my gosh what to
do...

I was wondering what the hell Luster was doing
with those letters. I've seen him post in AMK topics everywhere on a
daily basis, but I rarely see him anywhere else. I'll admit that I'm
somewhat concerned with getting a high post count, but I'd rather
make 100 interesting posts than 30 000 emoticons.

Oh, and I think this is interesting to note.
Awhile ago when I had a topic from 7-23-2003 on Pie, he kept posting
in it everyday, causing it to reach 500 somewhat quickly. It reached
a year before it reached 500, though, but I'm still pissed that the
****er used my topic to raise his post count.
Meh, hopefully
he'll give up soon enough.

Spring Rubber: Ok, so I got on the Death
Star and built a hotel, suddenly Darth Vader appeared and said, "Hey
there, you need some help? You look a little lost..." in a slick
voice, then I noticed that he was drooling and staring at me
suggestively. I kicked him where I expected his nuts to be, but
green ooze just started pouring out of there. I was so shocked at
seeing this, I paused for a second in shock and Vader took this
opportunity to jump me and knock me onto the floor, where he
force-fed me that ooze.
A few seconds later, I began to choke and
gag, then I threw up blood, nonstop, until it seemed every ounce I
had was out of me. When I went to breathe, my breathing was labored
just like Vader's. When I got up, I realized that I looked just like
him. Then the mind control kicked in, I just got up, put my hand in
his, and walked off with him. The end.

My master AMP plan

As some of you already know I was mad at Yuffie for getting
ahead of me in AMP. (Active Messages Posted)
Well, I came
with a very good plan at getting ahead of Yuffie's AMP again. I was
once ahead of her by almost 1800 AMP but she got ahead of
me.
The Plan:
Monday through Friday this week: I will
post at least 200 messages each day from Monday through
Friday.
Saturday and Sunday: Since these two days are weekend
days, I have more time to do posting so the number of posts I will
post on each day is higher. On Saturday and Sunday I will post at
least 300 messages on both days. (600 total posts for both days
combined)
Another plan involves going through my posting
history and bumping topics which will likely purge within the next 5
days or so. This prevents me from losing well over 100 AMP each day
to the purge. After getting 10000 AMP for the first time ever on
10/9/2004, I started falling below 10000 AMP on 10/15/2004. For
almost 3 weeks I have been battling the purge trying to keep my AMP
from going too low and to get it back up again.
Here are the
current results so far:
Starting AMP on Monday: 10110
AMP
on Monday before I went to sleep: 10311
Number of messages posted
on Monday: 201
AMP after the purge happens at 4:00 AM
GameFAQs time on Tuesday: 10290
AMP lost to purge: 21
AMP on
Tuesday before I went to sleep: 10505
Number of messages posted
on Tuesday: 215
AMP after the purge on Wednesday (That's
today) 4:00 AM GameFAQs time: 10487
AMP lost to purge:
18

Hey, careful there, guys. He'll probably mark you
for flaming if he saw that. If he cares that much about his active
messages, there's no doubt he holds his Marked Message Accuracy in
just as high regard.
As for me, I can't stand him either. But
I want nothing to do with him. I tried convincing him to quit it and
become a better person, many people have, but it just can't be done.
Shame, really. He obviously has way too much free time and could
probably become pretty popular around here on GameFAQs if he put
some thought and wit into his posts. It seems to me he just wants
attention. He's obsessed with NickBush24 and his high post count,
and Luster probably thinks that if he attains a high post count than
Nicky, he'll be popular too. But the difference is, Nick's actually
a cool guy, and isn't popular because he has a high post count. But
as long as I don't ever have to follow him through a system again, I
don't care what he does too much. It's just too bad. He could be
doing so much more with all that free time. He might have even
become a hunter, if he tried.
