Introduction

This lesson was developed in the course Teaching with Web Quests, a course offered by the Teacher Education Institute.  Throughout the study of physics student study the mechanics of many different types of moving things. I believe the ultimate location to study every different type of motion can be observed in any amusement park. An amusement park provides the students with the avenue to study linear motion, rotational motion and even light and sound waves. This is simply the best place to see all of the types of motion being applied to real life situations. Ultimately the students will understand the material better if they feel it is relevant to their lives and most students love amusement parks.
