Where I've Been

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and I have spent the majority of my adult life here.

My Life as an Educator

I teach my classes using a very hands-on approach. I feel students are much more effective learners if they are out of their seats and actively participating in the activity. I have just completed my third year of teaching and I have grown an appreciation for my other classes but I truly enjoy teaching Physics. Physics allows me to have many satisfying moments as a teacher. I get very excited when I see students connecting with the material and truly learning the information.

When I'm Not Working...

When I am not working I mainly spend time with my family and I try to find as much time as I can for my hobbies.

• http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0072465700/student_view0/index.html  is the web site for my astronomy textbook. It is an excellent resource for the students especially because it goes hand in hand with their textbook.
• http://www.skyscraperpage.com/  provides students with a lot of valuable information on current skyscrapers and their construction.
• http://www.bardaglea.org.uk/bridges/bridge-types/bridge-types-intro.html provides the students with a complete explanation of the various types of bridges and how they are constructed.
• http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/archive/int_spac.html provides a great deal of up-to-date information in the field of astronomy.
