The safari continued the whole day taking occasional breaks in the shelter of trees until it reached its final destination : The Sand Dunes, in time to enjoy the sunset. The camel drivers prepared tea, snacks during these breaks. It also provided a rest stop for the camels. The following pictures are taking during then. Click here to witness a Panaromic view of the desert as seen from the Sand dunes during sunset.

The below picture captures an exclusive shot of the sunset taken from the Sand Dunes. The time was 6:37 PM.

The picture captures a view of the rash surroundings in the desert. The camels trod along one behind the other. The leading one is seen in the picture. One of the halts on route to the Sand Dunes was on the outskirts of a village where the wells were located. To prevent evaporation of the water, the wells are built with a very narrow mouth just enough for a pot to slip in. The depth extends to an amazing 55-60 feet. It was absolutely refreshing to feel the cold water in the burning heat of the desert.

The rest stop near the wells refreshed us and we decided to do some exploring on foot. We walked a little distance and then seeing the open land in front of us, stopped and turned around !! The picture shows that spot. As the journey continued, we finally arrived at the sand dunes and what a sight it was ?... simply amazing as can be seen in this picture. It was like a dream becoming reality !!!
