The sunset was an amazing sight to watch from the sand dunes. Even more amazing was the night experience under the starry sky and in the company of a camp fire. There was not a soul in the proximity, for distances of around 15 kms in all directions ! |

| Just before the sunset there was enough light to move around in the sand dunes and we took the opportunity to explore around. The sand was cool and as a result we didn't require any foot wear to trod on it. From left: Nikhil, Satyendra, Mihir |
The sun continued dipping on the horizon and at a point peeked from behind the camel. Now, isn't that a fabulous sight ? | |

| The night was extremely cold. Obviously you were in the middle of the desert, in the shelter of a sand dune to prevent a direct slap of the wind ! The camp fire was cozy enough for all of us to huddle around it and have hot dinner that the camel riders prepared for us. The picture tells the story as we chat into the night. At dawn, the camel was still standing. it probably never sat down ! The sun had not yet risen, but the entire landscape was filled with a golden hue that was simply beautiful. From Left: Mihir, Nikhil, Satyendra. |
