You Are My Fire 6

**THE WEDDINGS**

**ONE YEAR LATER**
Rain, Amy, Angel, Lauren, and Jade all gathered in the dressing room of the arena. They had came into some problems with the wedding plans when they were looking for a place that would be big enough to hold 5 weddings all at once, so they decided to have the weddings all in the most memorable place that they could think of : Madison Square Garden. They had extended invitations to every member of the girls' families, their families, their friends, and as many members of the public that the place would hold.

The arena was beautiful. People had been working on decorating it for almost a week prior to the day of the wedding. The flowers filled the whole place with a sweet scent that only made the day seem even more beautiful. The reception was to be held at the New York Yankees Stadium, which was a 15 minute ride from MSG..

The girls and their mothers were in there with them, each one helping her daughter fix her veil, adjust her dress, pin fly-aways up, or just stand there and cry at how beautiful their daughters were. It was the big day. Rain was going to become Mrs. Dorough, Amy was going to be Mrs. Carter, Jade was soon to be Mrs. Richardson, Angel was going to become Mrs. McLean, and Lauren was going to be Mrs. Littrell.

The minister came down and told them that it was time to begin the ceremony. He then led the mothers up to their seats. The girls then walked to the elevator that would take them up into the main part of the arena.
When they got there, each girl's 3 bridesmaids gathered around her.
They then got into a line and walked down the hallway to the doors that led to the aisle. When the first bridesmaid started through the door, the wedding march started playing. The audience stood up when they saw Rain, who was the first bride in the line. Once they got to the altar that had been set up on one end of the arena, each girl took her place beside her soon-to-be husband.
The ceremony went off without one problem. When the priest finally declared all 5 couples 'man and wife' and that they could kiss one another, there wasn't one person that was there that wasn't crying, including the brides and grooms.
As each couple ran back down the aisle and outside, people threw birdseed and rice and blew bubbles at them. Once outside, the couples were led over to a large float-type thing that looked like it was supposed to be in a parade. It had 10 seats on top of it, and it was to be pulled by 10 white horses.
Howie, Rain, Kevin, Jade, Brian, Lauren, A.J., Angel, Amy, and Nick climbed up the steps and onto the float that was going to take them through the streets of New York.
Taking their seats, they headed off to their reception, and then their honeymoons. Rain and Howie were going to Paris, Kevin and Jade were going to Hawaii, Brian and Lauren were to be going to Rome, Nick and Amy were going on a cruise, and A.J. and Angel were going to Aruba.
