MEDICAL MADNESS

Since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by the world of medicine!  Here are my five thoughts for the week . . .

1.  What do sugar molecules [?] look like?  How does insulin take them across the blood vessels?

2.  Are all blood vessels permeable - veins and arteries?  Are their "pores" opening/closing all the time, all through the body in response to some internal stimuli?

3.  What do hairlines mean? Low hairlines (like mine)? Widow's peaks? Natural cowlicks? Relation of hairline shapes to race or intelligence?

4.  Does dyslexia extend to language development?

5.  Is there such a thing as reverse echolalia that would be recognized by anyone, but me?
