Cool Places In Japan
I haven't visited many places in Japan but I think I've gotten a taste
of a good amount of it. Here are some pix from the Northern tip of
Japan, right below Hokkaido, to Tokyo, and finally back to the Island of
Shikoku. I'm not very good at taking pictures but hey, at least they're
up for you to see. So why don't we get started.

I don't
know what happened to this pic. It just doesn't seem to scan well.
Anyways, this section is about my trip to Aomori Prefecture. I stayed
with my friend Wan in his city of Hachinohe. It's famous all over
Japan for its apples. We also have Yuki (top) and Mike (between Yuki's
two cousins) in this pic. Click on the pic to see more of my trip
to Aomori. |

On my way
back to Tokushima from Aomori I had a layover in Tokyo. I hung out
with my friend, Satomi. She showed my around and helped me get some
pictures for a report I was doing for the Tokushima Assistant Language
Teacher's conference. It was on Japan's youth today. Where
better to take pictures of Japan's youth than in the thick of things, Tokyo.

On May
17, 2000, I went on a field trip with the 6th graders in my Jr. high.
Here I am taking a picture with the two boys of the class (there are actually
only six kids in the class: two boys and four girls). From left to
right, we have Takuya, Ryo and me. Our trip was to Awaji Island where
we checked out the Flower Festival for the afternoon. Click on the
picture to see more pix. |
