For Christmas vacation last year (1999, if this page doesn't get updated for a while), I bussed up to the Northern tip of Japan to Aomori Prefecture.  I met up with two of my friends with whom I tutored Japanese with during my last year at the University.  I stayed at Wan's place in Hachinohe City.  Mike, my other friend I tutored with who is now studying at Tokyo University, brought his girlfriend, Yuki.  Check out the ball of fun we had.
 
 

	Hachinohe is really close to the sea.  I can't remember how far by car, but it's really close.  Because of it's latitude and distance from the ocean, it can get really cold up here. There was snow when I visited.  This is a picture near the Fishery ports.
	This is Wan.  A really good friend of mine from the University.  I must say that we've gotten much closer during our time in Japan.  Oh shoot, maybe I shouldn't say stuff  like that on the net.  Don't worry Wan, I'm not into you in a way any other than platonically ^_^ Jeez, who does this guy think he is?  GTO or something?
	Ok Wan, you can't touch without asking!  You gotta love it when someone's gonna get it upside the head.
	Now here's the happy couple, Yuki and Mike.  Every time I show this picture in the schools I teach at both the kids and teachers say ,"Oh, Love Love Fire!"
