William The Bloody (Spike)

PREVIOUSLY, ON BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER...
Spike was sired by Drusilla and the two became lovers over the decades. They both arrived in
Sunnydale looking for a cure for Drusilla. While there Spike began with his obssession of
Slayers after already killing two of them. During a freak accident though Spike was put into
a wheelchair and had to watch as Angelus moved in on his patch and his woman, Drusilla of whom
Angelus sired. When Angelus was going to destory the world, he formed an unlikely alliance with
Buffy, because at the end of the day Spike likes the world as it is. He takes Dru and the two
get out of Sunnydale. He returns one year later, a wreck after Drusilla has split with him again
, he forces Willow to do a love spell or he will kill Xander. After getting his fighting spirit
back he leaves Sunnydale yet again to torture Dru back into loving him.
Spike returns yet again one year later to seek the Gem of Amarra, a Vampire Holy Grail which will
render the user unkillable. Buffy thwarts his plan and sends the ring to L.A., to Angel.
While Spike is planning how to kill Buffy he gets captured by the Initiative, who implant a
chip into his head which means that he cannot harm a living thing in anyway. While Spike comes
to turns with being "impotent" he discovers that he can in fact still hurt demons and even
though none of them like him he becomes a member of the Scooby Gang.
As not been able to feed on a human really begins to effect him he continues to work with
others to try and kill the Slayer. However in one of his dreams he discovers that he actually
loves Buffy. He discovers that Riley has been with a female Vampire and so the two of them split
up when Spike shows Buffy what has been going on. When he gets around to telling Buffy she
wants nothing to do with him and rejects him. When Spike is captured by Glory and tortured by
her to tell her who is "The Key", its not until Buffy discovers that Spike did not tell Glory
anything and in fact would rather die than tell her anything that she realises how much he
really does care about her. He becomes an important part of the group and important to
protecting Dawn. However when he fails to protect Dawn from Doc he feels he has failed the
one he loves, however that really doesnt matter as he breaks down in tears when he see's the
dead body of Buffy.

"Yeah, I did a couple of Slayers in my time, I don't like to brag. Who am I
kidding? I love to brag."
Spike "School Hard."
"You have you way with him (Giles), you'll never get to destroy the world. And I dont fancy
spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet"
Spike to Angel "Becoming
Part Two".
"Do I have anyone on watch here? It's called security, people. Are you all asleep? Or did we
finally find a restaurant that delivers?" Spike on Fords Entrance at the Factory "Lie To Me"
Spike:"Remember last year? You had on that fuzzy pink number with the lilac underneath..."
Willow: [Nods knowingly] "I never would have guessed. You play the blood lust kind of cool."
Spike: "I hate being obvious. All fang-y and "grrr." [shrugs] Takes the mystery out"
Spike and Willow "The Initiative."
"Thats Right, I'm back and I'm a bloody animal!"
Spike "Doomed"
"What's this? Sitting down watching the Telly, while there's still evil afoot. Not very
industrious of you. I say we get out there and kick some Demon Ass! What can't go without your
Buffy? That it? Too Chicken? Lets find her; she is the chosen one after all. Come on, Vampires!
Arrhh Nasty. Lets annihilate them, for justice, and erm the safety of puppies and erm Christmas,
right? Lets fight that evil! Lets kill something! Oh come on!!"
