INTERVENTION
Buffy, Dawn and Giles are washing the dishes. Buffy and Giles begin to talk, Buffy believes that
she needs to have a break. She begins to question her ability as the Slayer and the effect that
it has on her life. Giles tells her there is a quest which she can do, Buffy then tells both
Giles and Dawn that she loves them but admits it sounds strange to say.
Warren finally gives Spike his Buffy-Bot, she walks over and kisses him
OPENING CREDITS
Glory tells her minnons that Ben is getting stronger all the time. She also tells her minnons to
keep a close eye on the Slayer and anyone she is looking after.
Buffy and Giles drive into the desert. When there Giles performs a spell to get someone to guide
Buffy. Buffy begins her walk into the desert and sits to rests on a rock. As nightfall came,
Buffy wakes to see a fire burning in front of her. The First Slayer is also there. She informs
Buffy that the Slayer is full of love. Love is the key to being the Slayer, and in the end love
will lead the Slayer to her "gift." The First Slayer tells Buffy that her "Gift" is death.
Spike and the Buffy-Bot play a game where she tries to Stake him. This turns Spike on and the
two have passionate sex right there in the crypt. The Buffy-Bot wakes up afterwards and goes off
to patrol. The Buffy-Bot bumps into Xander and Anya. The Two see something is wrong with her.
Spike turns up and they are set upon by three vampires. The Vamps are quickly dusted and Xander
and Anya leave. Xander senses that something is wrong and goes back with Anya. The two are
shocked when they see Buffy on-top of Spike having sex. Xander and Anya rush back to Willow's
and tell them what they have just seen.
Xander goes to Spike's Crypt and confronts him. Glorys minnons turn up and take Spike away. The
Buffy-Bot goes to Willow to look for Spike. Xander gets there and tells them they have Spike.
They all go to Buffy's home to stock up on weapons.
Glory looks at Spike and see's that he cannot be "The Key." The Slayer did protect him so Glory
tortures him for information.
The real Buffy shows up and when Xander and Willow confront her they find out that the other
Buffy is a robot. They all stock up on weapons and go to get Spike. Spikes manages to escape and
Buffy and Co turn up to help him in the fight. As a result though the Buffy-Bot gets broken.
Spike is in a really bad way, beaten to a bloody pulp. The Buffy-Bot shows up and asks Spike why
he didnt tell Glory Dawn was "The Key." He says he couldnt do that to Buffy, couldnt let her go
through the pain of losing Dawn and he would have died before he would tell Glory. She bends
down and kisses him. Spike pulls back when he realises that this is the real Buffy. As she walks
away she tells him that what he did for her and Dawn was real and she will never forget it.
After having "The Body" and "Forever" we needed to have an episode that would at least try and
lighten the tempo of Buffy. This is the episode, it becomes clear now that the poor episode
"I Was Made To Love You" had to be there to get away from Joyce's death. I am not saying people
have moved on from Joyce cause they haven't. This episode works really well and the Buffy-Bot
and Spike relationship is a marvel to watch, although there will be those who will find this
episode maybe a little to sexy. The episode does take a dramatic turn though with what
happens to Spike. Now before this I wasnt the biggest fan of his but my opinion has really
changed and although Buffy and Spike shared a kiss at the end to keep many hoping the two will
get together, I still really really cant see it ever happening.
