BUFFY ANNE SUMMERS

PREVIOUSLY, ON BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER...
Buffy Anne Summers moved away from L.A to Sunnydale. She was hoping to get away from her destiny
as the Slayer, One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. She was worng of course and came to
Sunnydale not knowing of the great evils that dwell there. On her first day at Sunnydale High
she met her two best friends Xander and Willow and her new Watcher Rupert Giles. Buffy had to
battle with a powerful Vampire named The Master. He did indeed succeed in killing Buffy, before
Xander brought her back to life by the aid of CPR. She went onto to defeat the Master and keeping
the mouth to hell closed, for now.
She grew ever closer to Angel, the Vampire with a soul and rather poetic, the Slayer fell in
love with someone she was meant to kill. Their love was forbbiden and when the two made love for
the first time Angel experienced a moment of true happiness and lost his soul. Buffy had to
battle with her emotions as she knew she would have to kill the newly formed Angelus who had
teamed up with the powerful Vampire duo of Drusilla and Spike. It wasnt until Angelus planned to
open the gateway to Hell, before Buffy became strong enough to kill him. With the gateway to Hell
open her friend Willow managed to re-curse Angel with a soul. It was too late however and after
one last kiss Buffy killed Angel and sent him to hell. Thrown out of School, rejected from her
family and losing her lover, she fled Sunnydale.
After learning that other people were a lot worse off without her Buffy came back to Sunnydale,
after a summer abscene, where she was welcomed back (eventually.) After Kendra tha Vampire
Slayer was killed Faith was activated and she came to Sunnydale. To Buffy's horror and then
delight, Angel had escaped from Hell. Her new foe was Sunnydale Mayor Richard Wilkins III.
However as normal on Buffy things did not got to plan, and when Faith accidently killed Alan
Finch it was the final pull of the Darkside and she sided with the Mayor. To prevent Buffy from
stopping the Mayors Plans she poisoned Angel, the only cure being a Slayers blood. Buffy and
Faith battled to the death with Buffy winning but with her last moments Faith robbed her of her
prize and put herself into a coma. Buffy cured Angel by making him drink from her. With the aid
of a lot of explosives Buffy managed to put an end to the Mayors plans. If that wasn't enough
for one day, Angel left, he loved Buffy so much he wanted her to have a normal life, so fled to
L.A.
Buffy started the new term at U.C.S.D with her new roomate Willow. After quiting the council the
whole Scooby Gang was at loose ends but she carried on with her duties. At College she met Riley
Finn, a T.A who worked for a secret government agent at night. The work of Professor Walsh
brought Adam to life, part demon, part human, part robot. He was too powerful for Buffy to deal
with alone. Faith awoke from her coma and managed to swap bodies and then doing serious trouble
to Buffy and Rileys relationship. The two were strong enough to get past that though and Buffy
was able to defeat Adam thanks to Willow, Xander and Giles. The season ended with the thought
"You think you know what you are? Whats to come?"
After falling prey to Dracula, Buffy knew that she doesn't really know what the Slayer is and
what powers they hold. In a bid to grow as a Slayer she asked Giles to become her Watcher again
and teach her to be even better. Her new lease of life was made a little more complicated by
her sister Dawn, who was always getting in the way. Buffy soon met a new and very very powerful
foe. She beat Buffy hands down but managed to escape with a monk that Glory was holding hostage.
Before the monk died he told Buffy that her sister Dawn was not her sister and not even real.
Everyones memory was changed to make it seem Dawn had been here forever, he told her that Dawn
was "The Key" and must not fall into the hands of Glory.
With this new found knowledge Buffy moved back into her house to watch over Dawn and her mother.
The council came to Sunnydale but this time Buffy managed to reverse the power hold only to
discover that the information the Council wanted to give her was that Glory is a god!
Buffy's love life was not any better either, after pushing Riley aside and only being interested
when she needed him she was shocked to discover him in the arms of a female Vampire. By the time
Xander had shown her the way it was too late and Riley had left. With Riley now gone this Spike
with hope that he and his new found love interest to get together. When he came clear about his
feelings Buffy rejected him and sent him into a spin.
All her life she has been able to fight something that has cause pain to her family or friends
but when her mother became ill she found it hard to deal. Joyce was told she had Brain Cancer,
but she had a successful operation. However unforseen side effects meant that Joyce died in the
Summers home, to be found by Buffy. Buffy slowly began to buckle under the pressure of trying
to protect Dawn and keep her from being taken into care aswell as her duties as the Slayer.
In an attempt to discover more, Buffy went on a Quest to discover that Death is her Gift. When
Glory discovered that Dawn was the Key the Scoobies had to go on the run. Dawn was kidnapped by
Glory though and all the Scoobies had to prepare for a fight to the death.
Buffy discovered that Dawn will be used to open a dimension gate so Glory could get home,
however this would destroy earth and kill Dawn. In the battle with Glory, Buffy managed to slow
her down and get to Dawn, however the gate was already open and the only way to close it was to
kill Dawn. Then she remembered that Dawn was made from her blood. She kissed her sister goodbye
and threw herself into the gate, closing it but killing her in the process.
