Two dragons touched down in the courtyard of Cy Dragonstake, Keepleader Dee of Xanther Dragonkeep on her dragon Tianath and her Commander, Josl with a passanger on his brown dragon Chirith.
"Welcome to Cy Dragonstake Dee." Headknight Sherra of Cy called as they aproached her.
"Sherra! It's nice to see you! Wow you've done so much since I was last here!"
"Your telling me! I've hardly had a minutes rest since we got here! There's so much to do. Ah good day Josl!" She said as she turned to the handsome rider.
"Good day to you Headknight Sherra!" He replied and kissed her hand.
"Oh how rude I've been." Dee said, abashed, "This Nela, she's here to learn about DragonCity relationships."
"Nice to meet you Nela, I'm Sherra, Headknight of Cy." And she held out her hand for Nela to shake.
Nela took her hand and shook it, "Pleased to meet you."
"Likewise."
"Anyway we have business to do." Dee said.
"Oh yes this sister... what did you say? DragonCities? We need to sort this name thing out." Sherra laughed.
"Yes it is a bit... inconvenient!"
"Well lets find somwhere to sit down and talk about it." Said Sherra as she lead the way to a conference room.

In the middle of the talks a man ran into the room.
"G*non! Get out I'm trying to hold a conference!"
"Very well I won't tell you!"
Sherra glared at him, "If it's important tell me if not leave."
"Hmm... well it depends what you call important, I mean I think I'd call an unfound lone egg that's starting to hatch important but I don't know if you would."
"Are you lying to me? There's never been a lone egg before."
"You can choose not to believe me and let the little hatchling die or you could believe me..."
Sherra looked worried, "You'd better not be lying!" She then turned to her visitors, "I'm sorry but I'll need to check this out..."
"It's okay," Dee said, "crisis' happen!"
Sherra ran out towards the sands and Dee, Josl and Nela followed.
When they reached the sands they saw crowds of people, it appeared that G*non was telling the truth.
"Let me through." Sherra called trying to find the so called "lone egg".
When she got to the back of the sands she saw an egg almost entirely burried in the sand, it was shaking and there was a large crack runing across it.
"Okay everyone!" Sherra shouted, "Calm down I need as many candidates as can be rounded up to get to the front here now, don't bother getting the robes we don't have enough time!"
Before she even knew what was happening Nela found herself being dragged to the front of the crowd by Josl.
"This is your chance kid!" He said with a smile.
"Kid? I'm not much younger than you!" But Nela decided not to protest as she had been waiting all of her nineteen years to get a chance to imprint a dragon, there'd been so few eggs laid in the recent years at Xanther and she wasn't about to pass up this oportunity.
Eight other candidates- male and female- had made their way to the front of the crowd by the time that Nela got there. The rest of the crowd backed off just as the egg shattered, a small grey head appeared and immediately started screeching. The crowed looked around to see what had frightened the little hatchling.
"It's trapped in the sand!" Yelled Nela as she saw the creature's plight, when the egg had shattered sand had filled the gap that was left, trapping the little dragonet. Nela ran to the hatchling and started to dig with her bare hands.
"Enne! Franze! Yoli!" She called. Three flitters, a blue, a white and a red, appeared around her head, landed and started digging too.
In no time at all the creature was free and, as Nela brushed the sand off the hatchlings hide, it appeared that the creature was not only grey but blue and white like the sky on a stormy day.
Thank-you! Thank-you Nela!
"I couldn't leave you Hyarlas!" Nela said, wondering how she knew the dragon's name.
