Rowhin was watching the tkars on his fathers farm, it was the most boring part of being a farmer and was one of the reasons why he wanted to become a knight, a rider of a powerful dragon defending the country and traveling all over the world.
      His fire flitter-by Grick circled around his head frantically and landed in his hair.
      "Gerrof you." He growled in mock anger.
      Grick fluttered over to the tkars and fluttered back.
      "Somethings wrong isn't it?" Rowhin counted the tkars, "There's one missing! Do you know where it went Grick?"
      Grick flapped his wings in the direction of the gate to the field, it was open.
      "By Terra! I can't believe I did that!" He rubbed his face and looked at Grick, "Can you look after them? No of course you can't, I'll have to take them back to the barn!"

      The piercing sound of a tkar pipe echoed through the valley, usually it would cause every tkar in miles to come running but today it reaped no response.
      "It must be hurt!" Rowhin was worried now, he knew that he would be in a whole lot of trouble if he didn't find it, "Grick can you find it?"
      Grick circled around Rowhin's head excitedly then shot off into the distance.
