The Rules of #Destiny-Summit
The summit is where characters go to spar, duel and just watch others train in their skills. Characters who enter the summit should be doing one of these things. There are rows of bleachers to one side where spectators may watch and talk among themselves.
The rules for this room are:
- No OOC (out of character) conversations or comments. Players will be given 3 warnings about breaking this rule and then they will be kicked. If they return and continue to disrupt the role play with OOC, then they could be banned from game play, in the summit as well as possibly other rooms.
- No character can be killed permanently on the summit, unless a host in uniform is there or through a
death duel. Spars, duels, and deals made on the summit are not official unless observed by a host of the game. An exception to the killing of characters on the summit, without a death duel, is the assassin class. Assassins who have contracts on other player characters may attempt to carry out their contract and kill another, if a host is present and given prior knowledge before the first attack.
- No character under the age of 16 years old is allowed. This means the character must be at least 16 in human years. So, if you have a sylven who is 50 in sylven years but only 15 in human years, it is not allowed. Players who are seen breaking this rule will be given a warning and asked to change the age or come back into the summit with a persona who is of older and proper age.
- Obey the hosts decision. In this room, as with all other rooms, when a host is hosting, his/her decision is always the right one and is not to be argued. If a player breaks this rule, they are given a warning as usual but that is depending on the host and how argumentative the player is.
- Public displays of affection on the summit is expected to be kept to a minimum. This would mean a single kiss or a hug is allowed, as is hand holding but not a continual amount of groping or even going under the bleachers, out of view (yes that has been seen). People breaking this rule will be given a one warning, in which they are asked to stop and go elsewhere for such things or actions.
- Once your name is on the room list you are considered to have "Entered" the summit and are under the rules of the summit. If you have listed in your name, afk or brb (so if your nick is Lord_Bob, then you can change it to Bob-AFK or Bob-BRB) then it is understood that you are not there but otherwise you are on the summit and subject to the rules and happenings there.
- Playing of classes or races not listed on the Destiny pages is not allowed. Players who act-out being an illegal class or race will be given a warning and asked to change to something acceptable to the Realm. This rule includes players who's character acts or thinks they are something else that does not exist in the world of Destiny without having reason to do so (as in, caused to think they are something else through an experience that was observed and noted by a host). This does not include any companions, scouts or pets played by the player. Just remember that common animals played by a player can be hunted and even attacked and killed.
- The softness of the ground on the summit is left up to the host in charge or available time to time. This leaves the question of whether the summit's grounds are soft or hard, up to them. Due to rains, sand on the area from the lake, dry spells or regular use, the condition varies. If it is said to be hard, then tunneling by any deep gnome is not allowed but if the ground is soft, then tunneling is allowed.
