Death Duel Rules
The following rules apply to both
the participants and the hosts that oversee the match
- No one can force, in any way, another character ic wise to particpate in a
death duel. It must solely be the character's own choice.
- There is a 24 hour wait period for the duel to commence.
- You must have an in uniform DGA present to host the match and at least one
other (in uniform) host to be a witness to it. There can be any number of people
on the summit to obsevere. Any host overseeing this match in uniform must not be
in the room in any of their player characters.
- In whisper, both parties will need tell the host the terms of the duel to
make sure they understand it is to the death. Before the match, the host will
also state on the main once again that this is to the death and make sure both
agree again.
- Healing of any kind is NOT allowed. You agreed to fight to the
death and that is what you shall do. Healing goes for anything that will return
your hit points to you or that will prevent death in anyway.
- Because some professions require they need to state their action in an init
roll (such as casting or praying) the init for a death duel is floating.
- Once someone is declared dead, their body may be removed from the summit for
proper burial. This may be done by anyone on the summit or the host if no one
steps up to do so. If the deceased person has any last wishes, they may let the
host know via whisper and if they are not outrageous or something really bad,
will be carried out. An example would be they want an item from their person
given to someone.
- There will be NO healing of the person who won by the host. It
is up to the person to either heal themselves (using items on their sheet or
abilities they may have) or any other playable character in the room to heal
them.
