The Rules of #Destiny-Inn
The inn is the main meeting place in the game of Destiny. Here players will meet for a drink, some food, conversations, as well as running into not only NPC (non-player characters) but also hosts of the game. Players will also engage in games, contests, stories and poems here.
The rules for this room are:
- No OOC (out of character) conversations or comments. Players will be given 3 warnings about breaking this rule and then they will be kicked. If they return and continue to disrupt the role play with OOC, then they could be banned from game play, in the inn as well as possibly other rooms.
- No physical fighting or physical violence of any kind. This does not include actions which not cause another harm. For example, slapping someone on the back in a friendly manner would be allowed but not smacking someone in the face out of anger. Throwing tables and chairs is also considered violent behavior and breakers of this rule will also be warned. If by chance there is an occasion where a host is present and violence or fighting does break out (caused by an NPC in a storyline) then rolling the dice will be called for.
- No character under the age of 16 years old is allowed. This means the character must be at least 16 in human years. So, if you have a sylven who is 50 in sylven years but only 15 in human years, it is not allowed. Players who are seen breaking this rule will be given a warning and asked to change the age or come back into the inn with a persona who is of older and proper age.
- Obey the hosts decision. In this room, as with all other rooms, when a host is hosting, his/her decision is always the right one and is not to be argued. If a player breaks this rule, they are given a warning as usual but that is depending on the host and how argumentative the player is.
- Public displays of affection is allowed to a point. Kissing is allowed, with no description of tongues; Hugging is allowed, but no fondling; Holding hands is allowed; Love making is not allowed. People breaking this rule will be given a one warning. Players who force themselves onto other players in any way mentioned above, without the consent of the other person will be kicked. If they do it a second time, they will be banned.
- Once your name is on the room list you are considered to have "Entered" the inn and are under the rules of the inn. Players who post that their characters walk outside are allowed to do so, but wandering further than the perimeter of the inn and still role-playing is not acceptable. Players going off into the forest, or down to the lake, or posting going to the summit or any other area will be asked by the host to make their own room for such things or to come back to the inn and take part in the social playing of the game with the other inn patrons.
- Playing of classes or races not listed on the Destiny pages is not allowed. Players who act-out being an illegal class or race will be given a warning and asked to change to something acceptable to the Realm. This rule includes players who's character acts or thinks they are something else that does not exist in the world of Destiny without having reason to do so (as in, caused to think they are something else through an experience that was observed and noted by a host). This does not include any companions, scouts or pets played by the player. Just remember that common animals played by a player can be hunted and even attacked and killed.
