Next, provide us with some very basic information:

Your full name (or as much as you're willing to give us. Of course, we don't need your middle name).
Your email address (This MUST be a valid email address; we need to be able to contact you easily. A yahoo or hotmail account is perfectly acceptable.)

Previous or existing characters elsemu*. Please be as complete as you can be; we prefer applicants be truthful with us on this account.

Now, some information for the character's +finger:

Your character's name and beast mode.
If the function is something you're not sure we'll understand (or something you want to elaborate) go ahead. But PLEASE, no trying to explain to us what a warrior, technician, or scientist is; we're not that dumb, honestly. :)

Type: Original Characters have the option of being Standard, Transmetal, Fuzor, or Transmetal II. Standard characters are by far the easiest to app for and get. Transmetals and Fuzors have the option of higher point totals but are much more difficult to apply for. Transmetal II characters are EXTREMELY difficult to get approved, but have the option of yet higher point totals. It's possible to have high-point Standard chars, etc, but it's about as easy as getting a Transmetal. High point Transmetals are about as hard as Transmetals II. Don't even THINK about making Transmetals II with really high point values, we'll kill you first and reject later. :P

Quote: Something your character would say, demonstrating their personality; this doesn't have to be a deep thought. In fact, if your character is a shallow ditz, avoid deep thoughts! That way, the quote describes the character perfectly. :) If we find the quote vulgar or thematically inappropriate, we will ask you to change it.

Note: A paragraph that sums up the character. This is the most important part of a person's +finger, so it should be detailed, well-written and complete. Try to include information on the character's personality, some of their weapons, and one or two of their weaknesses. Same rules apply as with quotes.

Now, the most important parts of the application:

Personality: Tell us all about how your character acts. What is their general outlook on life? What are some of their quirks? What makes them an individual?

Background: Leave this blank if your character is a standard without a history on Cybertron. Otherwise, provide a brief explanation of how your character was made into a Transmetal, Fuzor, or Transmetal II (Transmetals II will probably require longer explanations.)

Strengths and Weaknesses: Strengths and Weaknesses of your character; please, at least one of each should NOT be only combat related. Strengths are things like why the character is useful to his or her faction, or what rare skills they have. Weaknesses are ways the character might jeopardize themselves or teammates.

Sample Pose: Something your character would do if someone were to find him or her alone somewhere, or how your character might react to one or two people he's speaking with in confrontation. No actual combat poses, please; confronting a member of the opposite faction (without actually firing as though you were in combat) is just fine.

FC Interactions: How might your character react to certain FC's? You don't need to go through all of them (In fact, don't. We'll be annoyed, and annoyed appstaff aren't healthy to have around you). Just a few from either faction is fine; especially those you'd get along beautifully with or hate for life.

Why you want this character: Just a brief description of why you want this character. Be a little bit more specific than "He's cool and he can blow up stuff" if you can help it.

Future RP: Where do you intend to take this character? What do you plan to do with them? How do you want this character to evolve? No dramatic and sudden changes of personality if you can help it, please. :P Talk about your character's development if you feel like it, as well.

Your opinion of the idea of Consensual RP (the idea that all major things must be agreed upon beforehand).

Stats: Fill out values from 1 to 10 (1 being weakest) for the following statistics, in no particular order: Strength, Intelligence, Technical, Endurance, Speed, Skill, and Firepower. See NEWS STATS for explanations.

Attacks: Fill out attacks your character might have in each mode. You don't NEED strong attacks, and you don't NEED attacks in every mode -- global attacks let you have some offensive power, even without your own attacks. See NEWS ATTACKS for more info.

Skills: Fill out any skills you want for your character here. Skills can either be RP (no coded effect) or coded, such as flight. See NEWS SKILLS for yet more info.

Send the mail. You're done. =) We'll respond whether you're accepted or not; beware that the response may take anywhere from under a day to several days to respond to. Always be prepared to be stuck with guest access (or just without an alt) for several days after you submit your app; if you're a guest, spend the time asking people questions and familiarizing yourself with the game and commands in general. Read the other news and +help files if you can, and if you feel up to it, keep track of the bulletin boards. Write some descriptions and TF messages for your character to save time going IC later.
