Oh well, can't please them all.

Review. "Signs is no different, but while it is by far the funniest of Shymalan's films - the dialog and especially one scene involving aluminum hats - creates the kind of giddy laughter of a good horror/sci-fi movie. The audience knows that something is building in the story, and they laugh uneasily about it to try and not seem as tense. Shyamalan also manages a great deal of restraint in the film, relying on interesting camera angles and a sense of holding back seeing the "villian" of the movie, even at it's eventful and memorable climax."

Signs score-Definitely buy this. The music in the film was amazing and effective. The fast, intense, yet simple opening credits owes much to the score, and the poignant, emotional scenes all are accented by Howard's work. The emotion and life behind the film.
