Youth Ministries

Harvest Ministries seeks to minister to those in middle school and high school, as well as young adults, through weekly classes, monthly youth services, special activities and ministry opportunities. Discipleship and fellowship are our main goals as we aim to raise a righteous generation for the Lord! We hope to provide a loving and exciting atmosphere where all of our youth feel welcome. The following outlines our ministries to our youth:

Youth Classes

Wednesday Evenings 7:00 p.m.

High School – Room 213

Middle School – Room 203

These classes begin each Wednesday together (Room 213) for a devotional time. Then the classes separate to discuss topics that are relevant to the respective age groups. An emphasis is placed on applying Biblical truth to teenage life, while also encouraging our youth to be “lights” in their schools.

Youth Services

One Sunday Night Each Month

Once per month, the entire congregation participates in a service geared towards ministering to our young people. Our Youth Praise Band leads worship; there is special music by our youth; and our youth drama ministry, C.A.A.S.T., performs. The evening message on these nights is specifically targeted toward the needs of our youth.

This group leads the congregation in worship for all Youth Services as well as other worship services each month. The band seeks to blend energetic worship choruses with hymns of the faith.

Youth Activities

We feel it is important to offer our youth opportunities to gather together for fun and fellowship (cookouts, game nights, pizza parties, Christian concerts, etc.).

In addition, our youth have the opportunity to attend summer youth camps in Batesburg, South Carolina and an annual youth conference.
